  I visited this Sephora location with a friend while looking for gifts to take back home. We simply asked if there were any products or brands that are more exclusive to Canada. The interaction ended up being really uncomfortable. When we mentioned we’re from Saudi Arabia, the employee seemed surprised and kept asking if Sephora “really exists” there and whether we have brands like Fenty Beauty and L’occitane. It felt odd having to explain that, yes, we do have Sephora for more than 20 years in Saudi and all the brands! We were just looking for exclusive stuff! Since in Saudi we have so many items that are exclusive to us and people get it all the time! At one point she also said something like, “since you mentioned Saudi, this is a good cream for acne,” which felt completely random and honestly inappropriate. It just felt like the whole conversation was very uncomfortable. I would expect staff at Sephora to be more aware of where the company operates and a bit more culturally aware overall. Sephora has a strong presence in Saudi, and Sephora actually carries a saudi local brand called Moon Glaze in the Middle East and will definitely be worldwide soon. After this interaction I said to myself that I’ll definitely not be visiting again.

  Everything was fine until a lady come and ask for my shade match, I was okay with that, but then she tested the foundation on my face (I had makeup on) without asking for my permission ?! It took me more than 1 hour to do my makeup at home and now it was ruin, I never had this experience before at any other branches.

  Hi wise people ! Please please don’t buy any of Huda Beauty products cuz she ashamedly supported the brutal regime of Islamic Republic which killed over 40,000 innocent civilians of iran during 2 days with military grade!!!!! Sephora should no longer carry this brutal women’s products!!!!!

  Very disappointed in the staff attitude. Don’t come here if you’re looking for any service and don’t “look the part”. With over 10 staff on the floor you would expect someone to at least ask you if you need help looking for products or shade matching. I understand the staff stocking not being able to help but when the rest of the staff are basically walking away from you it doesn’t make it an environment for customers to want to buy anything. Put my basket down and walked away, not worth the trouble.
