    Terrible service. Usually when I go to Sephora, staff approach me to ask if I need help. Even when I don’t. However, this time was completely different. I actually needed assistance and was short on time. I asked one employee, and she told me she would check for me, but instead she walked away to do someone’s makeup without following up or even letting me know she couldn’t help. I then approached another employee on the other side of the store, since many others were either busy or not nearby. She simply told me to go ask someone else, which came across as quite rude. In the end, I had to go to the cashier and ask for help there, holding up the line while they checked for the product I was looking for, which they did have in stock. Overall, a very disappointing experience: overcrowded store, inattentive staff, and poor customer service. I would not recommend this location.

    I came in about a month ago because I had a concern about my severe eczema. I was so stressed out and didn’t know what to do so I went to my nearest Sephora to ask for any recommendations for moisturizing products. Bethlehem is the kindest girl ever. She is very knowledgeable, attentive and gentle. She walked me through my skin care routine and suggested me the best option for my condition. And it’s been one month now and my eczema is almost completely gone. Thank you so so so much Bethlehem.

    I can see why this location has so many negative reviews. I visited on Tuesday, March 23 and spoke with three different employees, and all three seemed completely uninterested in helping. Their responses lacked any care or detail, and it was very clear they would rather be left alone than do their jobs. When I asked where to find an item, no one offered to walk me to it or provide proper assistance. They simply pointed vaguely in a direction and expected me to figure it out myself. For staff who are supposed to be on the floor helping customers, the level of service was extremely poor. This location seriously needs a reset when it comes to customer service. The staff came across as cranky, unhelpful, and unprofessional. If employees don’t want to assist customers, they probably shouldn’t be working in a customer-facing role.

    I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my experience at the Sephora Union Station location on February 28, 2026. While purchasing a Dior Rouge Lipstick, I encountered a series of unprofessional and targeted behaviors from the cashier that I find deeply unsettling. During the checkout process, the cashier pointedly informed me—unprompted—that the item was non-returnable. I had not inquired about the return policy, yet she felt the need to emphasize this in a manner that felt exclusionary. Furthermore, I was not provided with a physical receipt, which is a fundamental right of any consumer for tracking and proof of purchase. More concerning than the lack of documentation was the underlying attitude of the staff. The interaction felt distinctly targeted and, based on the context of the conversation, I felt I was subjected to a racist attitude. This was an incredibly uncomfortable and demeaning experience, and as a frequent shopper, it is the first time I have been treated with such blatant lack of respect. I am sharing the screenshot of my digital purchase details as proof of my visit (Order #35109). I request that management investigate the conduct of the staff working on this date. Such behavior is a violation of the inclusive environment Sephora claims to uphold, and I am considering taking further action regarding this incident. I do not appreciate this treatment and hope to see a formal acknowledgment and resolution from the management team.
