I asked for the 90ml bottle of perfume but was sold the 50ml bottle.
Realized it only after I got home. The sales girl didn't have the decency to inform me that only the 50ml was available at the Young and Eglinton location. I would have gone elsewhere or ordered it ONLINE!

Andrea is rude, unhelpful and has major attitude. She sounds like she hates her job and lies about having inventory in stock because she's too lazy to check. I just left the Yonge and Eglinton store with an item that I purchased that she said was out of stock over the phone when my partner called to check because I was stuck in traiffic in an Uber on my way there and I knew there was only one item available in the store. She told him they were sold out. When I arrived they had the item in stock on the display. While I was checking out she was complaining to another coworker and looked visibly annoyed. The other co-worker asked her how she could support her and she started complaining about how cistomers keep calling on the phone and it's bothering her... The store has only been open for 50 minutes on a Monday morning BTW and there was maybe two other customers in the entire store. She lied this morning about not having available stock and she lied last week about not having available stock when I called to enquire. I know about the available stock for last week because I was able to order it online for pickup as soon as we got off the phone with her. Would love for corporate to call the store and ask to speak to her posing as a customer to see what I'm talking about. Her tone when answering the phone is, "Why are people calling me at work and bothering me?" Better yet send in a secret shopper to witness firsthand her demeanor and loud complaining about having to do her job at work that she gets paid for. I've never encountered or witnessed this type of behavior from this location in the past - or any other locations.

I went here a week ago and was shocked and saddened by the look of this place. The store was very cold and uncomfortable to shop in and a basket was practically thrusted into my arms as soon as I walked in, and the poor employees were running around trying to assist everyone, practically red in the face and clearly overwhelmed! The past few months it has ALWAYS been like this!! This place is CLEARLY understaffed and it is concerning how some of the employees just have no life behind their eyes despite being forced to smile and be personable all day. There is clearly an issue with management here. Employees seem to be doing their best but this particular location seems to be a sinking ship. Everyday at Sephora Yonge and eglinton is like Black Friday but without the discounts.

Dec 9, 2025.My experience at this Sephora location was overwhelmingly disappointing. I don’t usually do reviews but it was just such an upsetting experience. From the moment me and my boyfriend entered, we were completely ignored by staff despite the store being nearly empty.We browsed for an entire hour, hoping someone would acknowledge us or offer assistance, but not a single employee greeted us or asked if we needed help. Meanwhile, we literally saw half the staff just standing around. making it clear that we were intentionally overlooked.
We browsed many sections of the store and yet still weren’t asked if we needed help of even simply greeted. And everytime we’d look over to an employee they would just look at us, expression dull, and made it really hard to ask for help ourselves. Overall just an extremely unwelcoming experience.In a retail environment that thrives on helping customers discover products, the absence of attention or courtesy was shocking. We left, feeling undervalued and invisible. I hope management addresses this issue, as every customer deserves to be treated with respect and attention, regardless of how busy or quiet the store may be. I cannot recommend this location. I’d honestly rather go spend somewhere else. I’ve also seen multiple other reviews around this kind of behaviour at this specific location, so it’s obviously not just me. this entire team of employees are just the most uninterested, annoyed looking, unwelcoming service workers I’ve ever encountered and I cannot highlight this enough. season guys, when people are shopping for gifts for their loved ones, or just browsing in general, they want a warm welcoming environment to spend their money at, but this location almost seems like they intentionally strive to do the opposite.
