I politely asked if I could receive a small sample of a foundation to test it properly on my skin at home. The associate provided only a single pump, which was clearly insufficient. When I calmly asked if they could add a bit more, the response was dismissive and disrespectful, saying “that’s enough” in a very rude tone. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable and belittled. I did not expect this level of unprofessionalism from a brand like MAC, which is known for customer service and inclusivity. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to ensure customers are treated with respect.

She was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I sat down. Vans really listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I absolutely loved how my makeup turned out—it was flawless and exactly my style. You can tell she truly cares about her work and her clients. I’d definitely recommend Vans to anyone looking for a great makeup artist!

- ACAllison CeplerDec 11, 20255.0I went to visit Mac Yorkdale today to replace a shadow for under my eyebrows. Maria greeted me, listened to what I was looking for and presented 2 options. Then she applied both shadows to see what worked best on my skin. She was friendly, attentive and not pushy at all. She made me feel confident in my look and only helped to enhance it. I would definitely recommend Maria at Yorkdale Mac.

However this location changed my service experience with Mac cosmetics. I am a long standing customer of Mac, however I regularly used square one and erinmills, since erinmills closed the location I used square one, however the service in those locations have gone to 0!! Upon arrival I was greeted immediately by Levi ! What a gem of a person! Vibrant personality and genuine service. He assisted me, during his assistance Shagana was at counter and started having a conversation later to learn that she is the manager!! I dont see managers out on the floor and interacting so genuinely with customers!! I was blown away with there service! Wow! There were 5 other associates in the store all with smiles and service I would recommend this location to everyone in GTA looking to shop Mac cosmetics!! Thank you LEVI and Shagana for your outstanding service.
