  I’ve always received gift sets from L’Occitane but never had the opportunity to go into any of their shops until quite recently, and I’m glad I did! The Sherway location was well stocked, clean, and the sales associates were kind and knowledgeable but didn’t annoyingly hover so my friend and I could enjoy just browsing around. Even though we came near closing time, Mary (I believe this is her name, my apologies if I misunderstood) and I believe another person named Africa were happy to help my friend and I. She explained the difference between two viral social media products and when she provided samples of all the other products she thought would work for me and my mother. When they were sold out of smaller sizes my friend was looking for to travel, she provided samples & set aside that product at their Eaton Centre location. Talk about going above & beyond! I’ll be back to buy gift sets this year for Christmas for my mom, dad, and coworkers for sure! And yes for those wondering, the Almond shower oil really does live up to the hype!

  Today I got a facial and a hand massage and all the workers are so nice and best of all it was free. They served me orange juice and gave me free samples. The workers are also so friendly. I would totally love to work in there store good job L'OCCTAINE AT SHERWAY GARDENS!!!

  I wanted to share some disappointing feedback regarding my recent visit to your Sherway Gardens store. On July 31st, just after 12 p.m., I visited the location to explore your products for the first time. I was particularly interested in the new Almond Vanilla Body Mist and Hair Mist spray, which I had seen featured on social media. When I arrived, there were no other customers in the store—only one associate, who was standing behind the till area. I spent approximately 10–12 minutes browsing and testing products, but I was never greeted or acknowledged. Despite glancing at the associate a few times, she remained focused on the computer screen. As someone with over 20 years of retail experience, I understand the importance of acknowledging every customer. Greeting someone takes only seconds, yet it sets the tone for their entire shopping experience. I eventually approached the associate to ask why I hadn’t been acknowledged, and her response was, “I’m busy looking at something on the screen.” At that point, I decided to leave without making a purchase. This was my first time visiting L’OCCITANE, and unfortunately, it left a negative impression. I had been ready to purchase the spray, but this lack of basic customer service made me reconsider. I hope you can address this with the team at Sherway Gardens so other customers don’t have a similar experience.
