I’m so glad I did! The team there was incredibly welcoming and ready with shade suggestions. I ended up leaving with more than I planned: the Candy Yum Yum lip pencil and a matching gloss. The vibrant pink is bold yet surprisingly wearable, and I love how the pencil and gloss layer for different looks. To top it off, MAC was running a sweet little promotion. With every purchase they were giving away the cutest candy-pink, lip-shaped pouch. It’s the perfect size for tossing a few go-to products in my bag and adds such a playful pop of color. The Rideau MAC store itself felt like a mini playground for lip lovers so many finishes and shades all in one place, with staff who clearly know and love their products. I went in for one lipstick and walked out with a whole lip wardrobe plus a free gift. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in downtown Ottawa and want to treat yourself or find a fun makeup surprise.
