- MKMadhu KumarApr 4, 20261.0Had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. Background: Went with my wife and 12 year son to get a haircut for him. I showed the lady the pics of hairstyle he wanted. He sat down and politely tried to tell her what he wanted. She cut him saying she has seen the pics and already knows. After a minute again he tried to say something, was cut off again. Then again he tried to say something for the third time, was cut off again. Then my wife tried to talk regarding the haircut , she said I have been cutting hair for last 20 years and I know. I was quitely watching all this but then couldn't take it anymore. I stood up and politely asked what seems to be the issue. My wife and son tried multiple times to explain the kind of haircut, but you are constantly cutting them off for no reason. I told the lady, I would like to change the hairstylist .She said she will only cut it (politely though). I said 'no thanks' as I had enough at this stage. That's when another hairdresser jumped in and offered the worst suggestion anyone can give in customer service industry. She said to diffuse the situation, i would suggest you can go to some another great clips location. I couldn't believe my ears but quitely accepted that suggestion while controlling my anger and frustration. Truth: Me and my entire family have been going to this Ritson location for last 4-5 years. Result: Her suggestion has resulted in me and my family never going to this location again as well as strongly suggesting to other neighbours and friends to take their business elsewhere. This review will sadly result in more people choosing another location. This is not what I aim for but have to make other paying customers aware. Having said that, the decorum was maintained by all parties. There was no conversation in high volume or exchange of unpleasant /rude words.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
