- SOShana OsakiOct 31, 20255.0I honestly avoided going to Sephora in-store for a long time, because I felt weird going in with no makeup and as previous reviewers have said- associates seem to give worse service or hover over you. Today though, I decided to try again as I had some giftcards to spend. I decided to ask an associate for help- and I beleive her name was Nadia! (dark hair and super bubbly! thanks for the help with the charlotte tilbury girll!) She was so knowledgeable & personable. I will absoloutley return to this location in the future! ✨️

She did a lovely job helping us when we arrived but we felt trapped and awkward like we couldn’t shop freely without her standing over our shoulder and butting into our conversation. When we shared this feedback with a supervisor, the supervisor dismissed us, didn’t apologize that we had an uncomfortable experience, and didn’t offer any type of acknowledgement to what we were honestly but kindly sharing.

Not a single team member asked if I needed assistance or guidance—something I would have gratefully accepted. Earlier in July, I did request help and waited while they got someone, but I felt like a bother for insisting. And then, while I was speaking with the employee (who was great and very knowledgeable!), another shopper was also waiting for her help (because she was the only one working on that side, she told the other customer), and so I rushed through my questions so they wouldn’t have to wait too long on my account. It might be helpful to have a simple queue system for assistance so customers know they will be helped in turn and feel valued.
