- FTFereshte TalaeiJul 8, 20252.0I’ve been a loyal MAC customer for several years, but my recent experience at the Bayview Village location was incredibly disappointing. We had a makeup appointment booked for 5:30 PM. Due to an unexpected road closure near Bayview Mall due to an accident , we arrived at 5:40. We explained that we were heading to a party right after and didn’t have any makeup tools with us—we were relying entirely on this appointment. Still, the staff made no effort to accommodate us. We were immediately told we could only choose either eyes or face, and the tone was cold and rushed. It felt like they simply didn’t care how this would affect the rest of our evening. Afterward, I shared our experience with the MAC representative who had booked us, and she told me the manager was waiting for my call to discuss the issue. I called him, hoping there might be some gesture of goodwill or an offer to make up for what had happened. Or At least an apology…But the manager didn’t offer anything at all. He simply repeated what the staff had already said, and the entire call—10 to 15 minutes of it—felt like a complete waste of time. If you’re going to book customers that close to closing time, at the very least, be upfront about how strict the timing is. Better yet, show some empathy. Sadly, there was none here. The lack of flexibility, care, and follow-through was disappointing on every level. Very poor customer service, especially for loyal customers who’ve supported the brand for years.
