    I visited the store for a shade match and to pick up a few other items. I was a bit confused at first, but Mehrnaz was extremely helpful and patient. She guided me through everything and made the experience easy and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

    I picked up my online order today, I respectfully asked the cashier if there were any samples. In an annoyed, rude tone she said no and rolled her eyes at me. I asked if I can redeem any points to get the high end samples and in a very annoyed voice proceeded to say that they don’t have. I understand it’s a busy season for them. This is why I came 2 days after Boxing Day to pick it up but there’s no reason to be rude to a customer asking a question, I didn’t buy a pack of gum. I purchased perfumes from a reputable retailed, the least I can expect decent customer service I won’t be buying from this location again.

    Poor customer service and unprofessional behavior at Sephora – Upper Canada Mall. The staff acted arrogantly and showed no respect toward customers. Instead of being helpful, the attitude was dismissive and unnecessary. Having this happen on Christmas Eve was especially disappointing. The negative behavior ruined what should have been a pleasant shopping experience. I won’t be returning to this location, and my wife won’t either. I do not recommend this store, save your time and shop at a different Sephora where customer service actually matters.

    This was one of the most upsetting customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and unfortunately my 9-year-old daughter was with me and witnessed everything. While waiting in line to pay, a cashier (Neila / Nila) called me to a back area, away from other cashiers, and told me to walk over boxes to get there. This already felt unsafe and unprofessional. The cashier was extremely slow and disorganized. My daughter politely asked about prices. After scanning items, we were told the total was around $120. When I asked about payment, instead of explaining professionally, the cashier said to me: “You cannot afford it.” This comment was disrespectful, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. When I asked to cancel and recheck the purchase, the cashier hid the scanned items under her drawer and then denied that she had scanned anything or that my daughter gave her the items—even though I clearly saw it happen. Only after insisting did she pull the items out and admit it. The manager (Rachel) came over and immediately sided with the employee without properly listening to me, saying she needed to “protect” her staff. What made this even worse: •    We were told multiple different totals (around $157, then $220) with no clear explanation •    We were treated as if we were doing something wrong •    We were directly told we could be “kicked out of the store”, despite being calm, respectful, and never raising our voices Being threatened with removal from the store, in front of a child, over staff mistakes is unacceptable. This experience completely ruined our Christmas shopping. My daughter left stressed and upset for no reason other than poor training and unprofessional behavior. This is not the standard Sephora claims to stand for. I sincerely hope corporate reviews this location, this cashier’s behavior, and how management handles customer complaints.

    Had an employee today pull me out of the line today to pay with card at a separate area. She practically runs away from me, can’t figure out the machine and starts giving me attitude like its my card that isn’t working. Then when I asked for a printed gift receipt, she exclaims “Huh!” making me so uncomfortable. The worst shopping experience of the Christmas season, hire people who have better people skills if they are going to work cash.
