I was excited about this location opening up but yesterday I had a horrible experience there. No one wants to help you, they try to push you to buy a session for makeup just to get help with products. A “manager” that was on duty was rude and dismissive. They just want the money but do not want to provide proper customer service.
My store experience was fine. I had to wait over half an hour to find a worker to help me find an item. When i finally did get assistance, i went to checkout to pay for my item. I was spoken to dismissively and quite harshly by the cashier (Clara). She kept forcing the beauty insider program onto me, even though I made it clear I did not want to sign up. She later told me to calm down, which was quite rude and disheartening. Later, while I was leaving, she spoke to other costumers in the same manner. I was a loyal costumer of Sephora, but this visit has made me doubt it. I will not be spending my time nor my money here, especially if this is how the company hires employees to treat their costumer base.

I had a really disappointing experience at Sephora Erin Mills.
I went in to return a product and had my receipt with me, so I expected a quick and straightforward process. However, the cashier (Arnold) insisted on checking my credit card number to confirm it matched the one used for the purchase. It felt unnecessary and honestly quite uncomfortable—almost like I was being treated with suspicion, as if I had stolen the product.
I’ve shopped at Sephora many times and have never experienced anything like this before. The process felt intrusive and not very customer-friendly. I understand the need for verification, but this approach could definitely be handled more professionally and with better communication.
Hoping this was just a one-off experience, but it left a bad impression.

Big thank you to Nancy she was so helpful to me in the skin care area, I came in today they have some of the basics which is what this location will be good for, but not high end things like creme de la mer as well as the Patrick Ta spray I was looking for were not available.

I had a great experience at this Sephora location and wanted to highlight Sania. She was so kind, patient, and helpful, and really took the time to understand my needs. She helped me find products that are suitable for my sensitive and acne-prone skin, which I really appreciated.
It’s rare to come across a very nice and helpful Sephora employee. She not only made my experience great but also gave thoughtful recommendations without any pressure.
