    Abby at Sephora was absolutely amazing! Her kindness and excellent service convinced me to purchase my perfume. I had previously visited the Union location and didn’t receive the same level of customer care, so I’m really glad I came to the Markham store. Abby made the whole experience so pleasant and helpful — I truly appreciate her support!

    I went into Sephora today to grab my concealer. The girl who helped me on the floor was great — super nice and helpful. But when I got to the cashier, the experience turned ridiculous. My total was $50.75. I handed the cashier a $100 bill and also gave her $0.75 in change so I could just get $50 back — simple, right? Apparently not. One of my quarters happened to be an American quarter, and she flat-out refused to take it, saying they “don’t accept U.S. money.” Seriously? It’s a quarter, not a U.S. bill — and it’s worth more than ours! Because of that nonsense, I ended up having to break my $100 bill and walk away with a pile of coins and small bills instead. The lack of common sense was unreal. I asked to speak to a manager, and some girl behind the counter (still not sure if she actually was the manager) gave me the same robotic answer with zero courtesy or reasoning. The whole thing was handled so poorly. It’s not about the 25 cents — it’s about the attitude and ignorance. If your staff can’t use basic judgment or show a bit of customer service over something so minor, maybe they need to go back to training — or back to school.

    I’ve had my makeup done by Nathan at the Markville Sephora three times now, and every single time he’s done an amazing job! He’s so talented, patient and really listens to what I want. Nathan always makes sure the final look suits me perfectly and makes me feel confident and beautiful. Highly recommend booking with him. He’s the best!
