    Very rude employee. Me and my friends were just trying to sample colognes and an employee came up to us and kept pressuring me and my friends to make Sephora accounts. After we said we didn’t want to make any accounts multiple times she said” if you’re not going to make an account with us and your just going to sample colognes then get out” so we left I don’t think I’m going to come back.

    Yesterday I visited the Sephora Hespeler location in Cambridge with my friend. I purchased several items, including foundation, an eyeshadow palette, skincare products, and one Sephora lipstick. At checkout, the cashier scanned all the items and the total came to $196. After paying, she bagged all the products except the lipstick, which was missing from the bag. This was very frustrating. This is actually the second issue I’ve had at this store. On a previous visit, I returned two items, but the cashier only refunded me for one. When I asked about the another items’s missing refund, she said she “forgot.” Because of these repeated mistakes, I am very disappointed and do not recommend this Sephora location. Customers should be able to trust that they are being charged and refunded correctly.

    Came in to return something I was gifted by my husband and to swap out a lipstick because when I was gifted it for Christmas it came damaged (he purchased online). He recently just got a new card so the card he used when purchasing these items we no longer had. The girl who was helping me first was very kind and calm with me, the manager came over and started saying because there is a line behind me I will give u store credit but for future reference being ur partner with u or being on bank statements proving he purchased this. It was 17$ worth of mini sponges that I’ll never use, (i had the receipt and both his cards with me, he was in the vehicle with our two small children.) I was obviously flustered and asked the nice girl if that one was a manager and she replied with yes, she was apologetic and very polite. I will unfortunately not be returning to this location. Myself and my partner spend lots of money at this store … not a way to be professional. Was there Sunday Jan 4 at 410 pm.

    I attempted to return an item with the receipt clearly tied to my account. Staff refused to look it up, wasted over 20 minutes, and spoke down to my husband who was visibly injured and wearing an arm sling. The manager cited a vague “return policy” but could not show it in store or provide written evidence. Head office later repeated the same script and substituted store credit for a refund without having disclosed this condition at purchase. What’s especially frustrating is that Sephora’s customer service and flexible refund policy were the reason I started shopping here in the first place — knowledgeable staff, 60-day refunds, no hassle. That experience is gone. For that reason, I’m out. The lack of transparency around refunds and the dismissive, unprofessional manner of communicating from staff both in store and at head office has made me lose trust in this brand. I will never shop here again.

    I always visit this store all the time and I love the customer service. I already know few people who have always helped me but today I met this girl who works there who was so rude and talking in such a bad tone as if she was being judgemental and weird. The people work here needs to show respect towards the customers. I was so respectful towards her, I deserve the same respect as a customer.
