I had such a lovely experience at Sephora Mapleview Mall today. I went in to return a few items and was helped by Alex, and she was honestly the sweetest person. So warm, genuine, and kind from the moment she greeted me.
Returns can sometimes feel awkward, but she made the whole process effortless and comfortable. She was patient, professional, and just had such a positive energy about her. You can tell when someone truly enjoys helping people, and that’s exactly how she came across.
It really made my day. Thank you, Alex, for being so authentic and thoughtful — Sephora is lucky to have you!

I’ve had my makeup done by Fatima at Sephora multiple times and she always does such a great job. My makeup looks flawless, lasts long, and fits my features perfectly. She’s friendly, attentive, and clearly knows what she’s doing! Highly recommend booking with her!
I would love to give no stars. I am writing this review based on the fact I have been a long time client at Sephora. I think Head Office needs to investigate this store. Whoever has been put in a management role has completely made a mess of the customer service and the overall experience at Sephora . I went in last night looking for a product what I witnessed was a bigger girl black hair looking Goth sales employee taking with another sales employee not wearing a stitch of makeup looked like she rolled out of bed, I really could not be bothered to ask for help as the big one had a miserable face. I have noticed the store is dirty out of products most the time and really hiring very uneducated people in the cosmetic field. It has lost the upbeat feeling and positive energy. This reflects the management. I think Sephora really should investigate what is happening!!!
I’m writing as an Iranian customer in Burlington to express deep disappointment that Sephora continues to carry Huda Beauty. In recent statements and messaging, the brand’s public stance has been perceived by many Iranians as defending or normalizing the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), which is responsible for severe repression and violence against civilians in Iran.
Sephora has the ability to choose which brands it platforms. Continuing to stock a brand associated with messaging that minimizes these realities sends a painful message to Iranian customers and to anyone who cares about human rights.
I respectfully ask Sephora (Mapleview Centre, Burlington) to review this partnership and consider discontinuing Huda Beauty. Many of us will boycott not only that brand, but Sephora as well, if our concerns are ignored. If Sephora chooses not to stand with impacted communities, it risks appearing indifferent to—or aligned with—harmful narratives.
I hope Sephora will take this seriously and respond with clarity and accountability.
