Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience – Sephora Bramalea City Centre I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at Sephora – Bramalea City Centre. When I entered the store, it was surprisingly not busy. However, the associates on the sales floor were gathered together, chatting amongst themselves, and no one made any effort to acknowledge or assist customers. I went to the perfume section expecting someone to help me, but there was no associate available. Since the cash wrap was nearby, I approached the cashier to ask for the price of a mini Kayali perfume, which I decided to purchase. During checkout, I was offered the option of either $20 off the purchase using points or $10 off, and I agreed to proceed with the $20 option. At no point was I clearly informed that using points would restrict exchanges or refunds. Immediately after checkout—without leaving the register—I mentioned that I was actually looking for the larger bottle of Freedom Santal, which I had not seen on the shelf. The cashier said she would check in the back, returned with the item, and I explained that this was exactly what I originally wanted and that it made more sense to exchange the mini for the full-size bottle right away. To my surprise, I was then told that I would need to pay an additional $20 because points had been used and could not be refunded. I was shocked. I had not left the register, the transaction had just occurred, and I was never verbally informed that using points would prevent an immediate exchange. I was told that it appears in “fine print,” which is not reasonable to expect customers to read—especially when clear communication from the cashier is part of good customer service. I asked to speak with the manager, Sarah, whose response and attitude were extremely disappointing. There was no attempt to listen, understand, or show empathy. Her manner was dismissive and rude, and I was repeatedly told that “nothing could be done,” despite the fact that this situation happened immediately and stemmed from a lack of assistance on the floor to begin with. As a loyal Sephora customer who shops almost exclusively at your stores, I was extremely upset by how I was treated—particularly by a manager. The overall atmosphere in the store was unprofessional, with staff laughing and chatting while customers were left unattended. There was a complete lack of engagement, connection, and basic customer service. I truly hope this feedback reaches the District Manager. Management, especially at such a well-known brand, should demonstrate professionalism, communication, and respect toward customers. I strongly believe that additional training is needed at this location, particularly for the manager mentioned above. This experience was very upsetting, and I hope it is taken seriously so that no other customer is treated this way in the future

I’ve visited this location twice, and both experiences were extremely disappointing. The staff and overall service were very poor. During my first visit, I was looking for a foundation, but the staff seemed judgmental and did not guide me at all. It honestly felt like they were indirectly trying to get me to leave. Today, my friend and I went back to buy some lipsticks, and once again, no one was willing to help. One staff member even told us, “Sorry, I can’t help you—go to another sales representative,” without offering any assistance. This level of service is unacceptable. I would not recommend visiting this Sephora due to the lack of professionalism and customer support.

Today , just few minutes before. I visit sephora store in bramalea city centre . I bought 4 n 5 products there and all are in my hand . One lady who worked there ask me for bucket to put the products( my mistake is that i did not check her name and i want to especially mentioned her not everybody have same kind of thinking as yours). I said no i am ok and she told me dont put products in pocket. I don’t knw why they show so much attitude. For this kind of attitude, two girls who was before me in the line gave this kind of disgusting look that i stole the products not purchase it. I also worked in walmart n i knw customers are our priority. If there is an option for negative star i will definitely go for that.

I went to the store to pick up and deliver an order from Sephora. A staff member named ‘Aastha ‘assisted me in locating the order with great professionalism, grace, and a warm smile. She supported me throughout the entire process and was extremely helpful and humble. She truly performs her role exceptionally well and is a valuable asset to the team.
