- SSSabaSep 27, 20251.0Very interesting (not) to see that I got treated differently at the cash register, compared to the white woman who was cashed out before me. The cashier (Zanib i think) was a POC as well, but people clearly have implicit biases. Didn’t even offer me a bag for my purchase - never mind a smile or a greeting - just negative vibes altogether. Comparatively, the white woman who was cashed out before me was greeted with a smile, and im pretty sure there was a joke cracked too. Would be a great idea if folks got training on implicit biases :)
