  This review is to let everybody know that Rowan does not have a licensed body piercer on staff. What they did was purchase a Body Piercing establishment license to operate. They used their lawyers to find a loophole in the legislature for Oklahoma body piercing (this was completed a few months ago) this allows them to pierce ears without a licensed body piercer. Those "nurses" are not trained in piercing. It would be like calling your plumber for your electrical problem. They don't support Oklahoma small businesses what they are doing is actually hurting real small businesses that offer piercings. Half those "nurses" aren't even licensed. They are using "hot" words like "trained nurses" to confuse and manipulate YOU the consumer. They're just a glorified Claire's.

Reply: If you wanted to provide a "safe piercing" experience you would have real body piercers and wouldn't have had your legal team look for loopholes to operate!! BE HONEST!! You tried to get piercers to teach these nurses but no nurse is going to go through what Oklahoma requires to become a piercer. You Lie to your customers.

  Rowan is a most wonderful piercing studio. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable of their services and the products they carry. April did my piercings and she was so professional and kind. She took great care of me and I was most pleased with the final results.

  Called for an estimate to get regular lobe piercing for a child and was quoted $245. The Rowan in Loudoun county Virginia (one of the richest counties in the U.S. and highest cost of living) charges $130ish (yes, for both ears plus jewelry). Why is Edmond Oklahoma so much more expensive?
