Disappointed at the hairstylist. My kid's hair was uneven and afterwards left hair all over his face and neck area - did not even blow dry or help wipe off the hair. They seemed inattentive to what they are doing.

Beware of Brett – Worst Service and poorly supervised Team Two weeks ago, I went to Great Clips for a simple blunt trim and left devastated. A stylist who had only been cutting hair for two months chopped my waist-length hair up to my shoulders, despite my clear instructions. I sat in the chair holding back a panic attack, stupidly paid and over tipped, and went home in tears—only to realize one side was much longer than the other. I returned days later to complain, not for a fix, but to warn management that a new hire should not be left unsupervised. Instead of empathy, Brett was incredibly rude and condescending, refused to apologize, and told me to come back in an hour so he could “even it out.” This was a traumatic and heartbreaking experience. Brett and that unqualified stylist should be ashamed. I will never return, and I hope management addresses this before another young woman goes through something like this.

I tried using Great Clips for the first time today, and was very disappointed. I'm actually used to "online checkin" from appointments with Sport Clips. But, with Great Clips, after checking-in online, the notification said that I could "start heading their way" as my time slot was 15 minutes away. Upon arrival, I saw one employee who was helping two kids who just arrived before me.
After getting both kids in their salon chairs, the employee asked if I checked in online, and I said "yes". After verifying my spot she proceeded to tell me that it'd be a long wait, and "if I have something else to do, to go and do-it", so I left and came back 30 minutes later.
This time, there were two workers present, and the original worker was almost done with the 2nd kid from my first checkin. There were at least 6 new people in the lobby now. The second employee proceeded to ask if I checked in online, and I said "yes" and gave my name and situation from 30 minutes ago. The second employee said that I'd have to wait further, because they couldn't find me in the system. I decided to leave the promotional coupon with the 2nd employee, to gift it to the next person in line, and cancel my appointment. I'm very disappointed with this experience, because all I needed was a buzz on the sides, and nothing else. Takes 5 minutes. They lost my business and gained this review. Reason for not leaving a 1 star review, is because technology was to blame (or so we think).
