  It’s very hit or miss depending on the stylist. I’ve been coming to this location for years, and I’ve learned the hard way that I have to call ahead and book specific people because too many times I’ve left with a cut that didn’t match what I asked for, especially when it comes to bangs and face framing. I should have done that this recent visit as well but I didn't. Every time I ask for wispy bangs (which is a very common and simple request), I almost always walk out with blunt bangs instead. That tells me there’s a consistent communication issue. The frustrating part is that there have been a few amazing visits, and those are what kept me coming back, but this time completely broke my trust. I brought a reference photo and was very specific. I asked for wispy bangs that sit slightly below my brows, soft face-framing pieces, and pixie-like layers in the back. I even wrote it down so there would be no confusion. Everything was going well until the fringe. As soon as the bangs were cut, I could tell they were taken too short. I would have completely understood if the stylist(M.) had just been honest and said that. Instead, I was told the reference photo wasn’t my hair type or texture (it is,fine and straight like mine) and that the photo was edited because it had a face filter. The hairstyle itself is clearly achievable in real life. If she had told me upfront she wasn’t confident doing this cut, I would have waited for another stylist or kept my length. I actually love the back, but the bangs were uneven and I had to fix them at home. Now I’m stuck waiting for the front to grow out, and the front is the part that frames the face. This isn’t just about one haircut. It’s about a pattern of not following the reference photo, getting blunt instead of wispy, and there being no accountability when something goes wrong. I still tipped because I know she tried, but honesty would have gone a long way. I attached the reference photo, the result, and the length I started with so people can decide for themselves. When this place gets it right, it’s great, but the inconsistency and lack of communication are the reasons for the low rating.
