- SBSamantha Bruno2 days ago1.0Booked an 80 minute deep tissue. I had a therapist, I won’t say the same but 10 minutes into the massage I asked “can you do more pressure” She’s said “well I don’t know and if I can’t then I’ll just downgrade you to a Swedish massage” I politely said “I’m sorry but I wanted deep tissue” her tone, demeanor and loudness in her voice really shook me. She started saying that her fingers hurt, she just took an Ibprofen and that she’s been a therapist for 23 years. I let the massage continue for 5 more minutes before she said “how do you like it now, what do you got for me” - it came off very aggressive to me and I felt uncomfortable. I said I just wanted to leave. I talked to a front desk worker and luckily they had availability for me to go with someone else. But the experience was so uncomfortable and I was told the manager was going to come talk to me but they never did. If you book here, I recommend Dasha, she was very sweet. But based off some comments from people I know who have gotten massages there and then this experience, I won’t be going back.

The therapist was skilled, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personalized. I left feeling completely refreshed and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Exploring all the options on their extensive menu of services is the latest update to my bucket list. I appreciate that the whole experience feels luxurious. The spa robes and slippers, dressing area, resting area with complimentary beverages and snacks, the check-in process and care of each person along the way provides a haven from the stresses of life.

She could hardly breathe and it was very difficult to relax, especially since I am finally recovered from a several month long illness. My daughter also got the same service that day and her therapist was also clearly sick. Woodhouse should not have therapist exposing clients to sick therapists. $200 for an 80 minute massage is ridiculous even if they give you lemon water.

For some reason this is the only location that doesn’t save my information no matter how often I have gone here. I called to make an appointment today thinking after all of the appointments I have had that there would be a card on file. There wasn’t….which I just don’t understand and when I expressed my confusion the receptionist had an attitude. But I booked anyway because I do enjoy Woodhouse. But after that experience my appointment was then canceled due to “plumbing issues.” Of course I can’t say for certain whether or not this is all a coincidence, but after all the money I have spent at Woodhouse this is a very disappointing experience.

Spa Reservations
To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Spa Arrivals
To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Spa Requirements
Guests between the ages of 13-17 require a parent to be in the room for massage services. All guests under 18 years of age must get a parental release before the services can be rendered. So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and Woodhouse Spa Gift Cards.Woodhouse gift card contains value which may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Prices vary by spa and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. This card is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and Woodhouse is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit. Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.
