Walked in for a same-day appointment with a terrible migraine, and the first thing that hit me was the smell. They’ve got diffusers going, which are supposed to be relaxing, but for someone coming in with a migraine, it was intense and a little nauseating. I eventually got used to it, but it definitely wasn’t pleasant at first.
The IV itself was rough. My veins can be tricky, but I did not expect to be poked four times. And it wasn’t even one person struggling, two different staff members each missed twice. By poke three, I was starting to lose confidence and wondering if I’d even get an IV or have to leave. I’m not scared of needles, so I survived, but if you are, this could be rough. They offered Toradol and Zofran along with the Myers cocktail, which was thoughtful, and the staff was nice.
Once the IV was in, getting into the massage pod was wonderful. Very relaxing, and I did feel hydrated and like I got a fair amount of fluids and vitamins. That part of the experience was definitely a highlight.
The cost is a little high, and on the receipt, there was an option to tip. I left a tip because I felt weird not to, but honestly, with all the pokes, I don’t think I should have. That part felt a little off. One thing I really appreciated: they did not push any membership programs on me at all, which some places can be kind of pushy about.
Overall, if you have good veins and just want hydration or a vitamin boost, this could be a good option. But if you’re coming in with a migraine, nausea, or tricky veins, I’d be cautious, between the smell, the multiple pokes, and the price, I’m not sure it’s worth it for that kind of situation. That’s just my experience, but I wanted to share it honestly.
Stopped by here today because I had an unbearable migraine (chronic migraines sufferer for ~25 years) I've never had an IV drip outside of a hospital setting so I wasn't sure how much actual relief I'd get. I went in with a pain level 8 (ice pick pain) and within an hour my pain was completely gone!! I had some residual brain fog and some pressure behind the eyes, but otherwise healed. I have never in my life had such quick and effective relief from a migraine. A quick synopsis of the experience: taken to a private room to have the IV inserted, then moved to a room with maybe 4 - 6 massage chairs against a wall. These massage chairs were incredible! They are extremely high quality. The lights were dim and soft instrumental music was playing, just like any quality spa experience. I was hooked up to the IV, provided an eye mask, a pillow to prop my arm, a comfy blanket and then turned on the massage chair. I was so completely relaxed that I was in and out of sleep the entire time. The staff checked on me a few times throughout the experience. There was a small issue with the initial IV but the nurses were very attentive and realized quickly that it needed to be adjusted. By the time I was done, I was a whole new person. And one last major plus was that I came in near closing time, desperate but understood if they couldn't fit me in. They were kind enough to get me in even though it probably meant they stayed later than they had to. I am so incredibly grateful to the nurses on staff tonight. I immediately signed up for a membership and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. 10/10 recommend!!
