  We went for buying a foundation for my teenager on 3/24/25 around 5:30pm and we were shade matching ourselves. There was a sephora employee named Alehandria (petite and slim) who came for help. She was trying to be nice to my daughter but was very rude to me. My daughter wanted my opinion and whenever I tried to say something she cut me off and subtly tried to imply to my daughter that her mother doesn’t know anything and she should do what she wants. Though I get it that she was trying to capitalise her sales pitch with an assumption that every mother daughter duo has strained relationship during teenage years but that silly girl assumed that every mother daughter duo is the same! She was totally rude to me and when my daughter asked for my opinion once and I was trying to say something, she even snapped at me saying “we only need your daughter’s opinion!”. She was confused and couldn’t even do a proper shade match till her supervisor intervened. And at the end she wasted 15-20 mins of our time doing a prolonged monologue to my daughter about body positivity, importance of education and going to college!! My daughter is a stellar student and showed no insecurities about her body….she just wanted a foundation for her dance competition! That pep talk was a sheer waste of time and completely not needed and it made my daughter furious. We were polite and didn’t say much. When we tried to cut her off to check out she said “you need to hear this!” And she was loud. It was our worst experience in Sephora. Next time I am in Kohls I will also report that girl to the store manager there. Please avoid this girl when you are there!! Horrible.

  Terrible customer service. Was standing in line for 5 minutes and took another customer in front of me. I get being busy and helping other people but when I’ve been waiting is kinda crazy.

  I visited Sephora to find a matte setting spray to use for my upcoming wedding. I asked Taylor for a recommendation and she really went above and beyond to show me the best one that would be long lasting and even demonstrated how it well it worked over foundation. I purchased it and also grabbed the mascara that she suggested. Once I got home, I tried both out and after 7 hours at a 4th of July party full of sweating and such, my makeup still looks so good. My mascara didn’t smear and the setting spray was the perfect addition to make my look last! Taylor was so sweet and kind today. I’m thankful she helped me!!!

  I don't usually go to sephora but the costumer service was immaculate. I forget the employee's name but she was soo helpful and super knowledgeable! I'd spend a few dollars extra at that store just to get some of that personalized help.
