Employees here are just rougher than other places. They’re busy talking to each other about their personal drama, which usually I don’t mind too much. But while they’re doing that, guess what they’re not doing? They’re not paying attention to your hair or thinking about what’s right for you. Last time I went, I wanted a #1 fade. Every competent barber knows that a fade starts around the ears. But she takes the clippers and goes straight up to the top and before you can say anything you’re getting a high and tight. Because she spent only 5 seconds confirming I wanted a fade or thinking about what she was doing before doing it, and the whole time talking to her coworker about her own issue. Pay attention to your customer and use some common sense when cutting hair! They also push down harder on your head than other places. Finally the vibe overall is just more “Waffle House” while the one next to Costco is more “First Watch” (Read that how you want) Generally I can live with that in a business, but not if they can’t cut my hair right.
