  My wife signed us up for a Couples Swedish massage for our Anniversary and was confirmed on our receipt upon checkout. However, we both were given deep tissue massages. I’m not sure where this was miscommunicated from the front desk to the masseurs that performed the massages. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great experience & we probably both needed the tension relief of our bodies. It was not what we expected, at all. Matt was great! He asked me ahead of time if I had any areas that needed special focus before beginning. His technique was skillful, he moved smoothly between body parts & he knew when to pause to release tension appropriately. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as this was my first deep tissue massage experience. I will ask for Matt my next visit. We will probably try another location for our next visit so we can compare facilities. Staff at this location were attentive & we did get a little treat to celebrate our Anniversary. Thanks for that!

  Got the Head to Toes package. Both service providers for the massage and facial were great, very knowledgeable that targeted my goals and I left with real results. I don’t think they truly had all the tools needed for the process and my toes were left slightly rugged/rough and polish was unevenly applied. I’d skip the pedicure next time, especially considering the price. The service providers also didn’t seem to know when I was going into another service and so the process was a little confusing.

  The entire Woodhouse location in Dublin is so comforting and homey. It’s a big space, but still feels really intimate and relaxing the moment you walk in. The front desk staff are always so kind and helpful, which sets the tone right away. I booked a Body Balance massage with Vaughn and honestly… for what I received, it felt like I robbed them with the price. Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. I asked for medium pressure with a focus on my face and scalp, and she completely exceeded expectations. She released so much tension in my jaw and temples i didn’t even realize how much I was holding there. When she got into the scalp massage, I had full body goosebumps. She even finished with gentle scratches that felt like the best shampoo wash you’ve ever had (without the shampoo). The work she did on my shoulder blades was pure magic. I’ve never had someone get into my knots without it being painful, but she did it in a way that felt needed but not painful and checked in with me to make sure the pressure was okay Vaughn is very attentive I’ll absolutely be booking again in May to see her. Overall, such a wonderful experience and an amazing location.

  We saw Von and Matt, and they were both absolutely incredible. Von made me feel so comfortable that I completely relaxed and even fell asleep which has never happened to me during a massage before. The entire experience felt so nurturing and safe. Her scalp massage honestly felt out of this world, and she gave me the best foot massage I’ve ever had. Every part of the session felt intentional and detailed, especially for a 50-minute service. Matt was just as amazing very strong, and he really knew how to get into all those hard-to-reach spots and work out the tension. Overall, this was a 1000/10 experience. We both left feeling amazing, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back

  I have been to Woodhouse Spa many times and I have always enjoyed their attention to details and luxurious service. However, I was most disappointed on my recent visit. The young woman who met me on the second floor was lazy with her introduction and explanation of the robes, shoes and lockers. In fact, she just asked me if I remembered how the lockers work without helping me to find my robe and sandals. When I excited the bathroom, she did not offer refreshments like normal. She just told me to wait in the quiet room for my therapist. She did not recommend the neck warmers or provide any additional service. My massage was adequate. I had booked a deep tissue massage and the lady I worked with informed me that she did not do deep tissue but would apply pressure. Overall, I was highly disappointed by my visit. I normally feel that Woodhouse is worth the extra cost for their attention to detail, luxurious staff and superior massages but this visit fell short of that. If this continues, I will find another spa to visit.
