  My daughter and I had one of the worst experiences at the JC Penney salon in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday 1/10/26. I booked an appointment online for my daughter. She's preparing to start her Spring semester of her sophomore year in college. It's very difficult to catch a free moment with her, so the salon visit was a gift. I have been going to penney's salons for years, and felt confident that we would have a pleasant experience at this one. We walked into a disaster, that included several confused employees, a belligerent customer that insisted that she and her companion be taken care of before anyone else, and a lobby full of ladies that looked surprised to see this kind of mess in a place of business. There was one gentlemen that was genuinely sorry for the confusion and asked that we wait for the manager to explain what happened. We waited.....and waited...and watched as the belligerent customer spoke incessantly with both the stylist and the manager. My daughter and I were never addressed by the stylist. We grew tired of just sitting there, so I asked to speak to the manager before we walked out. She eventually tore herself away from the other customer only to tell us that there was a misunderstanding and that we would need to reschedule. I was surprised that our inconvenience was so easily disregarded and reminded her that an additional service was attached to our appointment. More flustered responses and confusion from the employees ultimately led to the front desk lady agreeing to wax my daughter's eyebrows. Nothing was comped, no new appointment was made and still no response from the stylist that seemed to have caused all of this confusion. As a longtime customer I am extremely disappointed in this location and ask that you address this experience with them and me directly.

  My stylist was Kaycee. She did an excellent job!! I would definitely recommend her. She was thorough, took her time and was very knowledgeable.

  Worst experience for haircut I ever had in my life .Going to Supercuts or great clips is much better than wasting money and looks . The lady who trimmed my hair did the worst job and she blow dried my ears with hot air . The blow out look I got …. Oh god I can’t explain to anyone. Such a worst part. They are not doing their job and no professionalism . Don’t ever go to this place , it will cost your money , time and disappointment .

  Jordan Helton did my highlights. My actuall haircolor is brown and i ask her to do blonde or caramel highlights and she did horrible job and color it orange shade and charge $90. And it was looks so bad so when I come home I have to color it dark by myself because I dont wanna looks funny . Never return back. If anybody wanna see pic you can comment.

  I showed them a picture of what I wanted. I wanted them to dye my whole head gold blond. It turned out white. And the cut I got was all choppy and horrible😑. The lady kept pulling my hair after I said several times "You are pulling my hair. I'm very tender headed. " Also she ripped out a lot of my hair. She didn't know how fragile my type is. She was very unprofessional. However, another stylist tried to fix the white and she was very gentle. But the coloring was still horrible. All hope Is lost for my Hair😦
