  Cut with Susan. Susan does a very good cut and I am happy with it. I have been coming to Susan for a very long time and she does not disappoint.

  Ua is a fantastic stylist. Have been going to him well over a year and so glad I found him. I walk out with a fresh cut every time and feel so confident. He takes his time and makes sure you love the work. Avola is a great salon!

  I have been on quite a hair journey from two previous salons since July of 2025. I have not had great experiences or results UNTIL NOW! I was so nervous due to my previous experiences until I was greeted. I had waited a few minutes past my appointment for my selected stylist and I was approached by a sweet smiling Sarah who was going to get me shampooed for Anna. When she sat me down and caped me up we talked about what brought me to the salon- with my pictures , my expressed disappointment with tears and eagerness for help. While chatting, a lovely lady showed up at her side listening intently. Lo and behold she introduced herself as Cindy the owner! She said she had noticed I was waiting and wanted to offer a complimentary deep conditioner treatment and scalp massage for my appointment delay. Kindness was abound throughout the whole salon and the vibe was perfect for me. When I met Anna my selected stylist she was fabulous and nailed everything we talked about for my hair plan. She even had me hands on styling my own hair with her coaching so I felt comfortable with what to do which was amazing. I am so happy with my new Salon as I am excited for my next appointment. Kindness matters and does exist.

  Avola Lanza is one of the best hair salons in the city. They’ve been in business for 30 years with some of their original staff, that is quite a feat in this industry. Not only is the environment welcoming, friendly, and kind, but they are all experts in their own right. The salon is immaculate and has a lot of natural light. I’ve been seeing Allison for years now and she is so skilled with color, cutting, and style. She has over a decade of experience and it shows. I love this salon so much.

  First time going here was amazing!! I was a little nervous as this was my first time here but Joshua listened patiently while i explained what i was looking for, was super talkative and friendly, and left feeling amazing about my haircut. Was not expecting to get a shampooing included but did which was nice!! The inside of the salon is super cute and the front desk staff was very friendly, offering me a coffee or water. Definitely planning on coming back! 10/10
