  I came in last minute for an helix piercing and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I made an appointment and they even saw me before my appointment time which was nice. I asked if I could pay before my service so I can run out and make it to work in time, they were happy to accommodate. I had zero idea tipping was a thing when getting a piercing (as I’m originally from the Uk and we don’t tip for this type of service)! Nurse Jen started my procedure and I was making small talk, I asked if the piercing is going to hurt and she replied “it doesn’t hurt for good tippers” I was so shocked and thought this was super rude and back handed. She also proceeded to tell me this job is basically like a hairdresser/service industry. I ended up giving her a 20$ tip out of pressure though her comments deserved nothing. In the future if this is a tipping type of place I suggest the staff making it clear that tipping is highly welcomed as an encouragement or a hint for people.

  Summer at Rowan was amazing! She did both my seconds and my tragus, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat down. What I really appreciated was how she took the time to consult with me beforehand, making sure placement was exactly what I wanted. She explained everything step-by-step, so I knew exactly what to expect, which really helped ease any nerves. She was also very gentle and precise, and the whole process was quick and smooth. You can tell she really cares about her work and her clients. My piercings look great, and I felt confident I was in good hands the entire time. If you’re thinking about getting a piercing, I highly recommend requesting Summer—you won’t regret it!

  Summer is absolutely amazing. She walked us through the entire process and was so patient with my very timid 6 year old. If we have piercing needs in the future we will definitely come back and see her. Really appreciate her patience, professionalism, and kindness.

  Overpriced in my opinion but very patient with kids and clean. Rowan: 1 helix with titanium jewelry was $166 with $18 tip Tattoo& Pierce shop: $80 for 2 lobes same grade of jewelry. ($60 and a $20 tip). Also very patient with kids and sterile (Single Needle Tattoo) Worth it to shop around! Hope this helps!
