A few days ago I went in for a trim and "debulk" and the stylist who said she was a manager cut my hair. She told me my hair was uneven in the back and told me that she needed to even it out. The cut was "ok" but the ends were very blunt and she didn't really debulk my hair much. After two days I decided to go back to see if she could fix my hair in such a way that I could work with it..such as textured and "thin" or debulk it some more. She went on and on about how she did what I ask all the while hacking into my hair with the thinning shears to the point she debulked atleast 75% of my density. I cannot even put my hair in a ponytail now because it is so thin. I have been crying non stop and researching what I can do to help my hair. I'm so scared to even go back to Great Clips for repair. There are gaps in the back of my hair now and it is so thin I'm not sure my hair will ever grow back properly. I feel like she was upset that I came back and took it out on my hair. I feel so self conscious now and will have to deal with this for years while she forgets ME in the snap of a finger. She didn't care !! The other stylist kept watching while she hacked into my hair - thinning, thinning and more thinning. I didn't ask for that treatment only for a correction. I put on a brave face but deep down I am really depressed now. I don't want a pixie cut again I wanted to grow my hair for a reason and she ruined my hair. Are they trained to do that? I wish I would have just went to the Oakley location to Maddy who is conservative when trimming and calm. . This lady was only concerned with getting revenge and telling her twisted life story (which was sad) but why take it out on me because I asked for a correction? And Great Clips doesn't care either - just another disappointed, depressed customer 😭
