  We were in the Chagrin location to get kids hair cut, and unfortunately person that cut her hair was not skilled enough to make it exactly what she wanted. Bangs were too short even she asked specialist to leave it under eyebrow, and they were cut unevenly. I m so disappointed and she has been crying all day, and terrified the whole neighborhood.

  I went there last night-the man cutting my hair seemed unmotivated, detached, and less then enthused. Even though I give him credit for trying and having ended up doing a good job, it was only because I had to instruct him through the process: The hair on the back of my head looked jagged and like it was cut in blotches instead of a consistent length, so I had to coach him on how to cut it properly. I have never before had to walk a professional hair-cutter on through how to cut my hair. And it took him twice has long as it normally takes other barbers and hairdressers to cut my hair. I am not saying that he is a bad guy, but I am uncertain of what kind of formal training he has had or if he is new to the profession. Also, without me ever having complained or even saying anything to her about the quality of the haircut experience, the other hairdresser seemed overly eager and desperate to convince and persuade me about how great of a job their location is doing and trying to flatter me about how handsome I looked after getting my new haircut . Only to find out that the only reason that she was so enthusiastic to talk to me, was so that she could end up promoting and advertising her social media business to me!! Very tacky!!!!! Very unprofessional!!!! Nobody deserves to lose their job here, but this store location is in dire need to be retrained on professional etiquette and how to properly interact with customers.

  I want to preface by saying I didn’t want to write a bad review. In this economy especially I don’t want to be responsible for potentially affecting someone’s livelihood. However, I got a bad haircut I think is unacceptable and don’t want someone else to have the same experience. I asked for a trim and when I left I couldn’t even put my hair up in a clip anymore. There were gaps in my hair like chunks just cut out, the layers were extremely uneven and it looked like a shaggy bob with random extensions clipped in the back. The proportions were just really off. Pictures of my hair a few days before and after the service. I’m not sure of the correct spelling but the hairstylist was Keisha. I went back the next day to get it fixed and the other stylist and assistant manager acknowledged it was a bad job. The other stylist did her best to fix it but said she would have to keep cutting shorter to get everything even and I should just let it grow out. I had to pay to go somewhere else to get the layers evened out. I have had a wonderful experience with other stylists at this location (hence my rating) however I will never be back.

  3 out of 4 stylists did not cut a straight line on a basic #3 undercut. Had to go back the next day to get it fixed. They were nice about the correction and didn't charge for it, but still unimpressed. Great Clips is not great, but you can get in quickly. No line and cheap prices.
