  First time here and my first massage ever and I am incredibly happy with everything! Morgan was absolutely the best. She listens and cares, which made the experience even better. Ended up immediately booking another appointment with her. The place itself is cute and charming, and I am someone who doesn’t know how to relax, but that all changed in one visit. Looking forward to going back. Thank you again, Morgan!

  My husband and I booked a couples massage with Deanna and Kira. They did such a fantastic job. We live out of town and wanted massages before we left to go back home. This place did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.

  Beware of deceptive pricing. Called in and booked three of my family members for massages as a Christmas present. Was told I was getting 20% off and they took my credit card information and booked the appointments. They enjoyed the massages and then the next day I checked my card and it was $100 more than was committed over the phone. When I called the person said they’d get with their manager and see what happened. She called back an hour later and told me the manager said the day i booked was a blackout day for that pricing since it was a busy day for them and that they sent me a text message about… did not call me or mention it at the appointment. Said since they texted me about it they wouldn’t honor it. Not how you do business… I have four small children and run a business where I receive 15-30 texts a day…a text message that doesn’t receive a response is not good enough to justify not honoring price given at booking.

  I had another appointment in Avon and wanted to treat myself to a massage -- I looked at a couple local businesses and landed on Essential Escape. I am SO glad I did! Everything felt very cozy and clean; they have great gifts in the front that would be excellent gifts or a cute addition to a gift card <-- I know I sound like a merchandiser but I was one so I notice these things, plus SEO. :) Spiritual and clean skincare baes - look here. And the real reason for my visit and the greatness were absolutely my massage with Morgan and the sauna after! Sooo lovely; Morgan is super kind and very intuitive. She was uber professional - thinking of things ahead of time like providing a robe so I could go to the sauna and even gave me some water BEFORE the massage. It was all REALLY great. Very relaxing. I felt very at ease with Morgan and at this spa; it was my first sauna too so I didn't know what to do -- but I'm so glad I booked that addition and will definitely be back to do both! Thank you !

  I wanted to like this place, but it was quite disappointing. First of all, the walls are paper thin-- I kept hearing laughing and conversation throughout my session, which was jarring. The therapist was okay, but either she was wearing a ring or had long nails, because she scratched up my back. Overall, it just felt rushed and not relaxing at all.
