    This was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. The employees at this Sephora were rude, dismissive, and outright ignored me. I asked four different workers for help and was completely brushed off every single time. They walked past me without acknowledgment, which is unacceptable in a customer service environment. When I finally asked about Jean Paul fragrances, the employee didn’t even check or look anything up and told me they didn’t carry them. I later found more than 10 Jean Paul fragrances in the store myself. That level of laziness and misinformation is unbelievable. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. This store has lost me as a customer permanently.

    Today, at 4:40 PM, I entered the Sephora store and had an interaction with one of the assistants. They sent me to the manager, Gabi, and she basically looked me up and down, commenting on my style of dress. I don’t think that should matter when a customer asks about makeup. I asked her a question, and she ignored me, turned away, and looked for someone else to help me. The whole time, she watched me as if I were suspicious, even though I’ve been a loyal customer for over 11 years. It’s disrespectful. I even called the other three managers, one of whom knows me and is aware that I’m a regular customer. It’s disrespectful that when I asked again for a makeup sample, she ignored me. I don’t believe that appearance or being Latina should lead to discrimination in a Sephora store. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. When I asked if she was the manager, she responded rudely and walked away, refusing to help. I had to call someone else four times in that store, and there are more than seven people in each area, so it’s not fair to discriminate based on ethnicity. This needs to be addressed in your store. It’s about inclusion, and as a customer, I’m sharing this complaint here on the website. Thank you.

    I am disappointed in the lack of care and compassion for the safety of Sephora employees. During the winter store advisory yesterday multiple stores in the mall were closing due to the fact that employees needed to get home safely and the roads were beginning to get really bad. Sephora remained open for no reason. On top of that, Sephora remained opened and made the employees stay back. Meanwhile, the managers had already left earlier in the day so they didn’t even need to worry about their own safety. The employees were worried about how they were going to get home due to the roads being so bad. This is really disheartening to hear that this is how Sephora treats their employees, especially when they sell make up. Beauty products are never worth someone’s life.
