    First time at Sephora and had a great experience, was kindly approached by a shorter girl with green eyes and brunette hair (totally forgot her name, whoops) who was very quick to recommend many products, had great replies to my questions, offered a color match, brought my items to the front when I was deciding on what else I was gonna grab and was available to help whenever, even got me an Ouai sample that I otherwise would have no idea I'm eligible for, signed me up for Kohl's and Sephora rewards, etc. As someone who had no idea how to navigate makeup stores (literally got overwhelmed by walking into the Ulta in the Town Square Mall Plaza), this was a really lovely experience!

    (I am writing this from my husbands account) Crystal was the only good part of yesterday’s experience. Thank you to her for being so kind, she even apologized for this event which was not even her fault in any way. If it weren’t for her this would have been a one star review. So I come here all the time & normally have a fine experience. Yesterday, 8/18/23, I went in with a friend , got my product & some samples and headed to checkout. From there I was rudely approached by someone I assume is a manager , didn’t catch her name, accusing me of putting something in my bag. Even when I emptied my bag she insisted I must have stolen something & put it somewhere else , maybe in the pockets I did not have ? Not sure. Felt like a little bit of profiling to me. As I’m leaving the store , she showed me the footage when she realized she was in the wrong , to which I understood her confusion, but I would’ve expected an apology at the least. Even a little less attitude than initially but nope. My main issue with this encounter was her approach. Had she came up to me & simply asked me to empty my bag due to some suspicion, we could have had a much more level encounter. But since she was immediately hostile over simply an assumption, THAT is why I’m writing this review. Be more mindful next time. Your approach is everything.
