  My first experience with this salon was amazing-it’s a beautiful space, and the staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in. Fallon did an incredible job with my haircut. I absolutely love the way it turned out! She was so friendly, easy to talk to, and really made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. Raquel handled my color, and it came out perfect-exactly what I was hoping for. Both services were exceptional, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’ve definitely found my new go-to salon!

  I had my hair done on Sunday and had such a wonderful experience! My beautician was absolutely amazing—she listened carefully to everything I wanted and delivered exactly what I asked for. I couldn’t be happier with the results! The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. You can really tell they take pride in their space and their work. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for great service and talented stylists!

  I seriously can’t recommend this salon enough!! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so so welcoming and professional. The atmosphere at this salon is super relaxing, and just overall a great vibe, definitely a place where you would want to get your hair done! My favorite stylist Victoria always takes the time to listen to what I want and gives me exactly the look I look for!! She is the best most heart warming stylist and she takes the time to get to know her clients personally. I would recommend Victoria a million times over!! You can she really cares about her clients and take pride in her work, as she should! I always leave feeling so confident and happy with my hair. So if you’re looking for a place that’s talented, friendly, and consistent, book with Meraki!!!

  I found Meraki Hair & Makeup Studio through a Google search looking for a salon for my Bridal Party and liked what I saw from their Instagram page. So I visited this salon and was impressed how nice and spacious it was. I had a bridesmaid who needed accessibility and Meraki has the room for accessibility with motorized wheelchairs. The Bridal package we had included bagels (and drinks). There is this nice bar table where our food was displayed and drinks were available with chairs to sit. At this salon in general they offer drinks for their customers. Shane and Jennifer are the owners of this salon. Shane did the business part and Jennifer is the artist who did my hair and makeup. Other hair and makeup artists took care of my Bridal Party so we were getting done at the same time. I forgot the name of one of the stylists (I'm so sorry) who also assisted me by asking if I wanted a drink or a bagel to eat. Others helped me as well. I appreciate that Meraki made sure that we were all taken care of during our appointment. There were 11 of us in total. They had rooms available where we were able to change into our dresses for the wedding. We went from the salon straight to the ceremony. Shane was very nice going through everything that we can expect for a Bridal party getting their hair and makeup done prior to the booking and day. Very communicative throughout the entire process. The email exchange made it easy to see the layout for our appointment. Any questions or concerns I had were answered. Prior to this day, Shane also mentioned to me to check in with our photographers to see when they can come to take photos so we can book our appointment time that works for everyone. Photos were done during our appointment. (Wedding just happened so I don't have those yet). Jennifer was very nice too. My original hair & makeup trial was canceled due to the snowstorm in January and she was able to be available on the rescheduled date. I had it done on the day of my Bridal Shower (which was rescheduled due to the snowstorm). At the time of the trial I went through a loss and she was nice to listen and communicate with me. She did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup that enhanced my look and made me feel and look beautiful on both the trial and wedding day. I definitely would recommend Brides to have their hair & makeup done at Meraki. Thank you.

  I cannot say enough amazing things about Victoria at Meraki. From the moment you walk in, the salon itself is absolutely stunning—easily one of the most beautiful spaces in Staten Island. It has such a luxurious, elevated feel that honestly makes you forget you’re even in Staten Island. Victoria is truly exceptional at what she does. Whether it’s color, cut, or styling, she consistently goes above and beyond every single time. She has an incredible eye for detail and really takes the time to understand exactly what you want, while also guiding you with her expertise. My color always comes out rich, dimensional, and perfectly suited to me, and her cuts grow out beautifully—which says everything about her skill. Beyond her talent, the entire experience feels high-end, relaxing, and seamless from start to finish. I always leave feeling confident, refreshed, and like the best version of myself. If you’re looking for top-tier hair in a truly gorgeous, luxury setting, Victoria at Meraki is it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.
