- KPKayla PercontiApr 7, 20261.0The past few months I have gone to see them have not been a good experience. Several small incidents include: Staff suspected a fire in the laser room when they smelled smoke. Left me in my exam room for 45 minutes instead of evacuating. Yes, the fire was across the street, but it seems that we weren't a priority. My prescriptions not being called in until I sent them a message to check in hours later. And most recently what pushed me over the edge. I suspected I was having an allergic reaction to some antibiotics. I reached out and sent details and pictures in a message. They got back to me saying "This seems less likely" a reaction to the meds. They did advise stopping the medication, but how can you use that language with a patient? There is so much doubt from a "professional" with something that could potentially be life threatening. When I sent the same message and pictures to my primary I received the response "Almost assuredly is related" to the medication, it makes me feel as thought Helendale could have handled it better. Within 24 hours of stopping the medication the reaction has begun to subside, and yet you claim this wasn't likely the cause. I feel very overlooked and like they only care about the cosmetic patients, not the ones who are there for a real problem. I won't be going back and have advised my family of the same.
