Dr. Arthur and her staff are genuinely pleasant and professional. You can tell its a great place to work by their attitudes and the same faces there every time I visit. For a person who really dislikes going to the doctor, I actually look forward to my appointments at Helendale. I think I will see what they can do to help me with my spare tire next!
- KCKitty CatDec 23, 20151.0I couldn't get an appointment to see Dr. Arthur for 3 months so I took an appointment with a nurse practitioner who spent less than 5 minutes with me to discuss something on my face that I feared was a basal cell carcinoma. I was diagnosed with this before and I didn't want to go through the biopsy again. The nurse practitioner thought it was actinic keratosis and not basal cell so she sprayed it with liquid nitrogen and said lets see how it is in 3 months. The liquid nitrogen barely touched my face so there was no effect other than a $328 bill to my insurance company. Now I need to see a real dermatologist to get this thing properly diagnosed and my insurance company will be billed again for the same service. I'm going to dispute the charge. Such a rip off!
