  Casey usually cuts my son's hair and was so patient when he finally was ready to come in and cut the long locks. We ended up leaving and committing to having his hair cut another time as he got anxious and overwhelmed which is typical for him being touched or getting a haircut. I called on Sunday to have him has his hair finished, and Becky took the time to sit on the floor and make sure he was comfortable with her, let him pick the chair to sit in, she made sure he didn't feel forced or uncomfortable and went at his pace. I havent seen him so comfortable at a place and it really is because the staff here are so great. As I type this review, a woman came in with a child for a cut and the wait time would exceed the closing time, and Becky committed to making an exception and taking care of that family. Not with some uptight rude dismissive demeanor you'd get other places, but the kindest smile ever. I've been on the phone with customer service for hours for a separate issue today with another company and the stark contrast of compassion and effort for people here you just cant get from another place. When my son was in the other day I even had another customer give me dirty looks from his being scared, and the staff didnt treat me different or make me feel like other adults do if your child doesn't sit perfect and orderly. If you have a child with special needs this is a place to consider stopping by for, because whether you do or you're an adult for a trim, they treat you with kindness that is rare and feels like fresh air.   Heard someone is working without an updated license, NYS license board has been notified! Maybe this is why no one can seem to get good haircuts at these salons

  I very much like the way you can sign up online for a haircut. It tells you exactly your wait time. When you enter the shop you can see your name on the list and how much time before it's your turn. I was given a very good haircut and I appreciate the fact they even take notes in their system for the next person.

  I now go to the Great Clips in Penfield with my sister to see our favorite hair stylist, Crystal. She (Crystal) has become the manager at Penfield, Congrats, girl! I have been with Crystal for many years and would follow her anywhere. My sister's hair person was at a salon and getting too expensive, as we both keep our hair short and like to have haircuts every 4/5 ~ 6 weeks or so. Recently, my sister asked me to take her to see Crystal and Voila, my sister and I now go together for our haircuts. If need be, Crystal helps out at the other GC locations from time to time, therefore if she's at Webster, we can always go there, as well. I live in Webster & my sister in Ontario. GC is always quick when signing in on the GC App to get on the list. The staff at both locations are Great, pun intended! Lol 😉 We love Crystal, she's like family to us! 💕
