- MMMaddie MAug 22, 20252.0Usually I go here and have amazing results! On more than one occasion Mary has saved my hair, while also attending to my concerns of not cutting it to short. She’s the literal best. Unfortunately this time around I got someone I’ve never had before. She was over confident and barely spoke English. She asked what I wanted I explained that I was growing my hair and wanted a fresh trim. I told her I want my hair left how it is but just trimmed. She agreed to what I said grabbed a chunk about 1” wide of my hair in the back and proceeded to cut about 3-4” off of it and then after with my hair in her hand asked “is this okay??” I said well it has to be now. So she chops at the rest of my hair. I told her I was trying to grow my hair out once again and that I’m trying to get it all one length, she takes some hair and cuts the front at an angle and cuts side bangs that can just barely tuck behind my ear. She kept saying she wanted to add layers. I kept saying I didn’t want that. My hair is an uneven chopped mess 4” shorter than it was supposed to be. I lost almost a year of hair growth because she didn’t listen to anything I said. I only gave $2 tip because I wasVERY unhappy with my results, but not tipping isn’t in my blood. She got visibly angry that I didn’t tip her more slammed my receipt onto the stake and stormed off. I will return but i will never allow her near me with scissors again. If someone else isn’t available I will walk out.

Jenn cut my hair and can I say she was a breathe of fresh air. So put together and friendly. Jenn did a great job on my hair . I wish I could have Jenn cut my hair every time- she was just lovely!

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
