  I had a great experience with Rosie. She made me feel comfortable right away and took the time to understand my skin concerns. Her attention to detail and caring nature made the treatment so relaxing. She’s very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly. My skin has already improved, and I highly recommend her! She’s the best!

  I originally purchased a Groupon for a Swedish massage at Vada Spa. When I called to book, I specifically asked about adding a lymphatic massage. Instead, I was upsold over the phone to include hot stones and deep tissue. When I arrived for my appointment, the manager couldn’t even confirm what services I was scheduled for, which was already a red flag. I ended up receiving services from two different massage therapists, but both massages felt exactly the same—just oil being rubbed on my body and wiped off with a warm towel. There was nothing that resembled a proper lymphatic massage, which I was specifically seeking for health reasons. After the service, I expressed my concerns to the receptionist and explained that I’ve had massages at other places before, and this was not lymphatic work. I paid about $250 in total and feel like I got nothing but a basic oil rub. No one took accountability, and my request for a refund was ignored. On top of that, I was charged a $25 cancellation fee when I tried to adjust my appointment—even though I was told Groupon bookings follow a different process. Customer service was extremely unprofessional. They were quick to upsell and charge fees but did not deliver quality service. As a single mom working full-time, I was really looking forward to this for my health and relaxation, and I left feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. I also had to wait 10–15 minutes past my 5:30 PM appointment time, and no one followed up with me after saying a manager would reach out. Overall, a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend

  This was my first time ever getting a facial, and I absolutely loved it! The ambience was so peaceful and welcoming. It instantly put me at ease. The whole experience felt luxurious and relaxing, and my skin has never felt this soft and refreshed. The esthetician(Bella) was gentle, professional, and explained everything, which made me feel really comfortable. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

  I had such a wonderful experience at Vada Spa and Laser Center, and I’m genuinely grateful for the way they honored my group’s coupon without any hesitation or attitude. In a city where customer service can be hit or miss, their kindness and professionalism stood out immediately. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. They were patient, attentive, and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for my hair. The stylist did an amazing job—my cut, highlights, and styling came out beautifully. The color blended perfectly, the placement was thoughtful, and the final look had so much dimension and shine. You can tell they take pride in their craft. What impressed me most was how detail‑oriented and gentle the stylist was throughout the entire process. They checked in with me, explained what they were doing, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. By the end, my hair looked refreshed, healthy, and styled with so much care. I left feeling confident, appreciated, and excited to come back. It’s rare to find a place that combines skill, professionalism, and genuine hospitality the way Vada Spa does. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for quality hair services and a positive, respectful experience. Thank you again, Vada Spa, for taking such great care of me and my group.   I had a pretty disappointing experience at Vada Spa NYC, and I’ve been here a few times before but the lady at the front desk is more of a sales person with a bad attitude When I initially called to book my appointment for 5 PM, the woman on the phone immediately started pushing me to come in earlier. I explained that I couldn’t due to work, but the pressure didn’t stop there. The day of my appointment, I received a text again asking if I could come earlier. I reiterated my situation and even said I’d try my best, but made it clear I didn’t want my service to feel rushed if it was close to closing time. I was assured that wouldn’t be an issue. Despite that, I was contacted yet again asking if I could come earlier—after already explaining multiple times that my schedule wouldn’t allow it. It felt very disregarding of my time and boundaries. When I finally arrived, the experience didn’t improve. The staff member (an older woman with blonde hair and glasses) was extremely pushy, constantly trying to upsell additional services without clearly explaining pricing. It felt more like a sales pitch than a relaxing spa visit. I still don’t understand why she wanted me to come in earlier when the salon was nearly empty ???? She said it’s by appointment WHICH I MADE FOR 5PM. The other girl was nice didn’t get her name and Yesenia did a good job on my nails, massage was mid. Overall, the entire experience felt uncomfortable and overly aggressive rather than a relaxing spa visit.
