Disappointing store. Testers are not clean and sales people are not knowledgeable. They are not customer oriented -you better be sure nothing you buy is defective. No matter how much money you’ve spent there -they refuse to allow a return one day late. They must keep your money -no store credits given. ULTA and BLUE MERCURY NORDSTROM etc. are so much better in every way. Low class store.

I stopped into Sephora today to purchase one item. I located the product myself, as no one acknowledged me or offered assistance, and proceeded directly to the checkout counter. There was one customer ahead of me. I observed Cheyenne being personable and engaging with that customer. When it was my turn, the experience shifted noticeably. There was no greeting. Instead, Cheyenne began singing and then asked for my phone number to associate rewards with the purchase. I declined. She completed the transaction and asked if I wanted a bag. After my payment was approved, she handed me the bag but did not provide a receipt. I let her know that I wanted my receipt. In response, she asked, “Why did you say it like that? Are you angry?” I was genuinely surprised by that comment. It is inappropriate for a sales associate to question a customer’s emotional state rather than focus on delivering standard customer service — greeting the customer, completing the transaction professionally, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back. When I later informed another team member about the interaction, I was offered complimentary items, which I declined. My concern is not about compensation but about professionalism and training. The issue here is not a misunderstanding — it is a clear gap in customer service standards. No one shops at Sephora expecting to be evaluated emotionally by staff or to receive inconsistent service. I will continue purchasing directly from the beauty brands themselves rather than returning to a store where there appears to be a disconnect between company values and frontline execution.

•Convenient location. Just on the same block as my usual pilates studio. •Staff are helpful when looking for items/brands. •A lot of items are out of stock, and some aisles are very disorganized. However this is better and less crowded than the other branches Ive been to. •I was able to browse and check testers without being bothered, so yay!

I almost never leave negative reviews, but this experience was awful. I walked in about ten minutes before closing and, instead of being welcomed or helped with the door while I was with my daughter in a stroller, I was immediately yelled at that the store was closing. I even heard staff complaining about the stroller, which was extremely disrespectful. I turned around and left right away — no help, no apology, not even a goodbye. Avoid this Sephora and go to the Columbus location instead, where the staff is truly kind, welcoming, and professional
