horrible customer service, went in with a friend to do some shade matching was never greeting, one worker followed us like a hawk. ended up having a mishap which lead to the manager telling the other employees not to help me and my friend. we watched every employee greet and service every other person in the store except for us then we were rushed out while no one else was given a closing warning. when we finally did leave the woman at the door made it a point to not say good night to us even though she had said it to every other customer who left. for a store run by mainly POC you guys are really good at making black people feel ostracized. i wouldn’t shop here again but you do you if you like racism this is the location for you

The manager “Beverly” from Sephora 59th and Lexington knew a stranger stole my Sephora order and did nothing to help me. Instead she was dismissive and rude.
I placed an order on the Sephora app for pickup, and when it was ready, I got another message within 10 minutes saying it had already been picked up, and I was not even there
When I went to the store, I was told my order was given to someone else. Which first of all means they ROBBED me since only I am authorized to pick up my order, NOBODY ELSE. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve the issue, Beverly was defensive, unprofessional, and repeatedly told me there was nothing she could do. She also said I might not even receive a refund and that I should just go home and “she will get back to me”. She claimed she would find out what’s going on and get back to me the next day but she never called, checked up, or even cared to help me it’s my order.
She didn’t display ANY characteristics of a manager, and frankly I don’t know if she is even fit to be one

First off, let me preface this by saying I’m not a Karen nor someone who often leaves reviews. But after my most recent visit, I feel inclined to say something. This was my FAVOURITE Sephora, truly, I went about once every week or so before they closed for renovation. But to keep it short and sweet, I feel like the customer service has gone down immensely since they’ve opened again. I have gone twice and since the reopening and this is my second bad experience. Everyone seems to have an attitude or being a bad mood all the time, It’s like they got two months off and just came back miserable? Don’t get me wrong, there are still a couple really nice workers for the most part, but besides them they all just have an attitude. Maybe it’s the times that I’ve gone in but it’s ridiculous. I can’t even describe it, but it’s so weird. I’m pretty sure it was the manager I spoke to, but she also had a slight attitude with me as well for god knows what reason. And it’s not just me!! I’ve seen some of the employees be rude to other people as well. I saw someone ask if they had any more of a product, the guy quickly brushed her off and said ‘whatever we have out is all that we have’ and walked away. It’s really disappointing because it’s such a beautiful Sephora. The store itself is nice, but the employee seriously need to work on their attitudes, for how much we spend at Sephora the least they can do is show some kindness. I hope whoever the owner is comes across this because it’s such a turn off to be excited to come back and be met with such bored irritated beauty advisors (granted it’s not all of them!! but it’s enough to say something).

KIMBERLY was so amazing!!!! I’m not a makeup or skincare person and I explained that to her when I walked in, she made me feel very comfortable the entire time. She guide me and educated me. Employees like her deserve a raise! will definitely be back to visit her.
