- TGTaj GOct 31, 20253.0Normally, I have a pleasant shopping experience here. However, my recent interaction with sales associate Marzia was disappointing. I came in to make a small purchase, and since no one was at the register, I approached Marzia, who had a portable payment device. Before I could even finish asking if I could check out with her, she abruptly looked up, said “NOPE, I’m busy,” and walked off. I was genuinely surprised by her tone, as this hadn’t been my experience in the past. Another associate kindly helped me instead. During and after my transaction, I noticed Marzia was simply on her phone and walking around. Moments later, a few other guests entered, and she immediately offered to assist them.

- TTTheresaSep 21, 20252.0I have been shopping at Sephora, probably for as long as there has been one and for the first time, I had a not-so-nice experience. The sales girl that I initially encountered for assistance clearly did not want to assist me. Her manner was curt and dismissive. She initially started helping me, but when a group of women came in, she hurriedly left me to attend to them. She did't bother to excuse herself or make apologies, she simply walked away from me. The store was not crowded I might add, perhaps 6 customers (Maybe). As a business owner, I would never tolerate this kind of rude behavior from any member of my staff. I understand too that we all have off days, but to simply walk away from a client is bad business. Clearly, she did not want to assist me. regrettably, I did not get her name. Might I suggest that Sephora's management give their in-coming employees an in service on client etiquette. I found it more than a bit uncomfortable, disrespectful and if I were to be honest, hurtful.
