  Amazing service and experience at Rowan’s! Samantha was truly a gem and helped my little girl find her courage throughout the whole process! She was patient, kind, and over all fantastic. Can’t wait to bring my other little gal over for her first piercing!

  I went here last night with my sister and niece. My nieces is 5 and this was her second attempt at getting her ear pierced. Samantha was OUTSTANDING. Kind, compassionate and excellent read the room skills. She identified that having both ears pierced at the same time would be the best option. She called over another technician and before you know it my niece was gushing in the mirror and her newly pierced ears. Thank you so much for the stellar experience!!

  I recently visited Rowan in New York with my family to get my 2-month-old daughter’s ears pierced. We had an early appointment and were among the first clients of the morning. What should have been a special and memorable experience turned into one of the most uncomfortable service experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, Victoria created an awkward and judgmental atmosphere. She loudly and repeatedly commented on how cold it was outside and questioned why I had my baby out, implying it was dangerous. She said this in front of other customers(repeatedly), which felt humiliating and unnecessary. Instead of feeling welcomed, I immediately felt scrutinized. Once seated, the interaction only became more concerning. She asked my daughter’s name three separate times back-to-back, repeated the same questions about where I was from, and seemed unfocused. She then began challenging me about my baby’s vaccines and demanded proof. While I understand safety policies exist, the tone and delivery were accusatory and inappropriate. I did not come in to defend my parenting decisions. Throughout the piercing itself, her hesitation and the long pause between ears made the process feel chaotic and drawn out. My daughter was clearly distressed, and the lack of confidence and efficiency made the situation far worse than it needed to be. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, uncomfortable, and unnecessarily judgmental. I brought my baby in for a simple service, not to be lectured or embarrassed. Because of how poorly this was handled from start to finish, I canceled my future appointment for my own piercing and will not be returning

  Excellent experience - highly recommend! My friend and I went to Rowan on a whim and were seen right away. Diana, our nurse. was friendly and efficient. She walked us through earring placement, jewelry options, and care/healing. I had second piercings done in my lobe with a needle. I'm amazed by the lack of pain. There was a quick pinch with the piercing itself and a bit of an ache for a couple hours after but then, no pain! It's been a month, and the healing process has been so smooth. This is pricier than going to the mall or a tattoo shop, but the care and quality is worth it!
