I went to Mark a few weeks ago and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him or the shop. Mark is extremely skilled, takes his time, and really listens to what you want — the cut came out exactly how I asked and still looks great weeks later. You can tell he takes real pride in his work.
The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe. Everyone was professional and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. This is the kind of place you feel comfortable coming back to every time.
Mark definitely earned a repeat customer — I’ll be going back to him moving forward and would highly recommend both Mark and this barber shop to anyone looking for a top-quality cut.

I’ve always had a good experience at Ray’s and hardly ever wait. I usually go on my lunch during the week so maybe just a good time slot. They give quality haircuts and the price is very fair for what you’d expect in Tribeca.

Been here 3 times, each with a separate barber. All were very quick, bordering on rushed but the quality of haircut varied considerably. I walked away from my 2nd visit, really happy with one of the best haircuts I’ve had but my haircut from a few days ago was terrible. Didn’t do what I asked, cut my hair in a way no other barber has ever done before and did everything to get me out the chair as quickly as possible.
I won’t be returning because it’s too inconsistent.

I have tried several different barber shops in this city and Ray’s has been the best. The people there are very nice and friendly, whenever I go I walk in and they have no trouble squeezing me in, and Mark has given me great haircuts! I recommend Rays to everyone I know looking for a barber in Tribeca/fidi

I've tried a few barber shops Downtown NYC but this one beats them all:
1) Very large space, not a crammed 2-seater shop; it's very clean, pleasant smell, comfort music
2) The staff is very professional, especially Mark
3) No non sense hair cut, quick in and out with the perfect hair cut.
I will be returning next month 100%
