  I recently visited the West Village location looking for a gift for a friend. The staff member, Moura, was very friendly and helpful, not only did she help me find a great candle but also offered to wrap it, which was a lovely touch.

  Dustin was extremely helpful and very kind helping me go through the colognes and candles. He is very knowledgeable about all the stores products.

  Dustin and Maura provided amazing service! They were both so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They took the time to answer all my questions and made the whole experience feel easy and personalized. You can tell they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be back because of them!!

  I always love stopping by the Diptyque candle shop, but this visit was especially great thanks to the amazing employees, Dustin and Maura. They were both so knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help — the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again. I picked up Narguilé (which they recommended), and it’s incredible — a warm honey and tobacco scent that feels cozy, rich, and perfect for this time of year. It fills the space beautifully without being overpowering. If you’re looking for a candle that feels luxurious and comforting, this one is a must. Between the beautiful scents and the exceptional service from Dustin and Maura, this shop continues to be a favorite.

  I discovered Diptyque’s solid fragrances while on a recent trip to Amsterdam and wanted to add to my collection while I was in NYC. The saleswomen was incredibly dismissive, first telling me that Diptyque was phasing out the solid fragrances, so I was basically lucky to get what I could, and then telling me that the solid fragrances were never intended to stand alone, but rather as a complement to the bottled fragrances. The experience was such a stark contrast to the one I had in Amsterdam that I left empty handed. I’m hopeful she was friendly with others.
