  I’ve been a Sephora customer for many years and have spent thousands of dollars with the company, which is why my experience at the Lake Grove store was so surprising. I recently attempted to return an unused conditioner and asked whether a one-time courtesy exception might be possible. I understand stores have policies, and I wasn’t expecting anything unreasonable. What was disappointing was the way the situation was handled. The manager and staff were very dismissive and the interaction came across as unnecessarily cold and mean for what was ultimately a $30 item. There was no effort to acknowledge my history as a customer or even approach the situation with basic courtesy. Policies are understandable, but customer service and professionalism should still matter. It was surprising to see so little flexibility or empathy from a brand that promotes customer experience so heavily. After years of shopping at Sephora, this interaction left a very negative impression and has made me reconsider where I choose to shop in the future.

  I love the place, the staff are super kind. Although, Maddy was exceptional. She was kind, wasn’t rushy, and she knows what she’s doing.

  We had a great experience at Sephora in Smith Haven Mall. This location is perfectly situated right by one of the mall entrances, which makes it extremely convenient. You can walk in and access the store quickly without having to go deep into the mall. Parking is free, and the mall offers good accessibility options, making the entire visit easy and comfortable. The staff at this location truly stand out. They are knowledgeable, professional, and very polite. What impressed me most is how well they listen. They take the time to understand what you are looking for, your preferences, and your overall vision, then recommend products accordingly. This is especially noticeable in the fragrance section. The team does a great job helping customers choose the right perfumes and colognes without being pushy. The store itself is well stocked with a strong inventory and a clean, organized layout. Since it is inside Smith Haven Mall, you also have plenty of other shopping options nearby, which makes it a great overall destination. Five stars for this Sephora location. Great service, great convenience, and a consistently good experience.

  Lovely Natalie really took her time with me and showed me amazing products. Such a personable women and appreciated the atmosphere she build with combo of there lovely team around. Great group of worker's overall great experience🤍
