  I just had the single worst Sephora and shopping experience of my life at this location. First of all, it's inside a Kohl's. So they don't have any of your Beauty Insider info saved, and you have to retell it to them, though I've been one for 15 years. They were fully out of at least half the items I wanted. There were three people working in there resetting the displays, not helping customers, yet I was waiting 15 minutes at the counter before someone could bother to come check me out, shouting "hello?" until I finally hunted down an employee. Then they couldn't give me my birthday gift I never picked up last years, deleted all my saved points, and had no samples. Then, without telling me or getting my consent, they created a Kohl's account in my name and shared all my contact with Kohls. I've gotten three emails from Kohls in the 30 minutes since I completed my purchase. Again, I did not consent to them sharing my info, as I was told they were recollecting it for Sephora because the system was down. Never going back here even with a gift card. GO TO ULTA DOWN THE STREET!

  Went in here today with a friend and i approached one of the workers to ask if she can price check an item since it was on clearance. She then proceeded to say “You can do that up front” very rudely. i was very confused because she already was price checking the holiday stuff to mark them down. Sorry you couldn’t take two seconds of your time to simply check a price. I put the item down and walked out. This is why i like Ulta better!

  This past Thursday, I stopped in to try to get some Christmas gift ideas for my son's girlfriend. There were no employees as I walked through and by the time I reached the registers, I realized all the Sephora employees (3-4 of them) were all behind the registers talking amongst themselves and looking at their phones. I approached the registers and stood there a moment, waiting to be acknowledged. That never happened. The large young lady looked up at me then, looked back down at her phone so, I said, "Good morning", the other employees turned their backs on me and the large young lady glanced up at me and parroted, "Good morning. How are you?". I replied, "I'm well, how are you?". Her face was already back in the phone and I was ignored. I stood there a moment more then said, "I'm looking for a gift for a 19 year old young lady". She continued looking at her phone so, I prompted, "Perhaps some makeup brushes or something? I'm not sure what you carry". The young lady reluctantly walked over with me towards where the makeup brushes are, suggesting that I take a look at them. I attempted to ask more questions as I was again, looking for a gift and she walked away so, I left. I understand now why this Sephora never has customers in there. Or perhaps, the pple working there pick and choose who to be friendly towards. I try not to shop in Kingston as the customer service is generally horrible but, this has been one of my worst interactions to date in over 10 years. It's the holiday season, if you dnt want to interact with customers, why are you working in retail?? I'm sure nothing will be done about this but, i figured I'd review this location anyway to warn others because, it was a rude interaction.
