    OMG I actually have always hated Sephora but if the owner is reading this, please fire your manager, I feel like swinging! (Literally never shop here) Drove more than 2 hours to come here for my birthday gift, know this, we came here for my birthday in December to get my gift and they had sold out! A lady told us that we could come back in January to get the gift instead and we listened. When we arrived, the manager and the cashier were very rude saying they couldn’t give it to us yet we came 1 month ago telling us we could. Mind you, we came here ONLY for the gift. So upset because the manager was very rude and didn’t even say anything after we left and yet she kept walking off with an attitude. Such a shame that we drove over 8+ hours to get nothing. Never coming back to a Sephora.

    Felt like I was being watched the entire time. For context I’m not white. Please work on how you treat people of color, I would have spent more if I wasn’t so obviously uncomfortable

    I use to enjoy shopping at this Sephora but after the way I was racially profiled never again. I went in to look for skincare items with my fiancè and nephew and kept being followed and stared at by loss prevention personelle (Asian gentlemen with tattoos). Every move I made he kept looking over and staring…even when my fiancè was having a conversation with one of the ladies helping there he was there looking over us…if your Hispanic just know the Asian loss prevention guy with tattoos will follow you around the whole store.

    I had a really disappointing experience at this location while returning few items. Everything was fine until I got to the register, and that’s where the customer service completely fell apart. The cashier who claimed to be a manager at the store looked annoyed the entire time and acted like ringing up my items was a burden. When I asked a quick question about a price difference she rolled het eyes, and gave me a curt response without even checking. The whole interaction felt rushed, unfriendly, and downright unprofessional. For a store that sells beauty products, you’d think they’d at least try to offer a pleasant checkout experience. Overall, the rude attitude of the Manager at the register ruined my visit. I left feeling frustrated, and I’ll definitely think twice before coming back.

    I used to love Sephora but the company needs to work on customer service and accountability. I'm pretty happy with customer service reps on the phone but I don't really care for the help I receive in store. Some associates are really nice but you sometimes end up with a cold hearted, unempathetic manager who needs to be retrained in customer service. I've been a loyal Sephora shopper for 20 years. I drove 1 hour to this location in LI when I live in Queens because I wanted parking (Queens center Mall is atrocious). I was trying to return over 5 items in store and I was told because I paid with PayPal, I wouldn't be able to get a refund but rather store credit only. This is a new rule and I was completely unaware as I didn't have an issue the last time I was here. I begged the Manager, Natalie to help me just this once but she didn't care to assist me. She kept pointing to the store policy printout on the counter. That's more useful info to know prior to making a purchase online afterall. I exclaimed how I drove for an hour, and I don't have 5 boxes to ship the products back (5 separate orders) but she didn't console me. It was like talking to a cold, heartless wall. I said I'm going to leave a review after our conversation and she said "go ahead, here's the return policy". I'm completely appalled. Fyi, I work as manager in customer service. I would never let a customer leave so upset. I've been a rouge member for about 20 years and this bad taste makes me not want to shop at Sephora from now on. I'm happier to shop direct from retailer like Fenty, Dr Jart, too faced, etc because I get better customer service there. Better yet, go to Ulta! They don't have this ridiculous rule about refunds with PayPal nor Klarna.
