    I used to love Sephora but the company needs to work on customer service and accountability. I'm pretty happy with customer service reps on the phone but I don't really care for the help I receive in store. Some associates are really nice but you sometimes end up with a cold hearted, unempathetic manager who needs to be retrained in customer service. I've been a loyal Sephora shopper for 20 years. I drove 1 hour to this location in LI when I live in Queens because I wanted parking (Queens center Mall is atrocious). I was trying to return over 5 items in store and I was told because I paid with PayPal, I wouldn't be able to get a refund but rather store credit only. This is a new rule and I was completely unaware as I didn't have an issue the last time I was here. I begged the Manager, Natalie to help me just this once but she didn't care to assist me. She kept pointing to the store policy printout on the counter. That's more useful info to know prior to making a purchase online afterall. I exclaimed how I drove for an hour, and I don't have 5 boxes to ship the products back (5 separate orders) but she didn't console me. It was like talking to a cold, heartless wall. I said I'm going to leave a review after our conversation and she said "go ahead, here's the return policy". I'm completely appalled. Fyi, I work as manager in customer service. I would never let a customer leave so upset. I've been a rouge member for about 20 years and this bad taste makes me not want to shop at Sephora from now on. I'm happier to shop direct from retailer like Fenty, Dr Jart, too faced, etc because I get better customer service there. Better yet, go to Ulta! They don't have this ridiculous rule about refunds with PayPal nor Klarna.

    I had such a great experience at Sephora thanks to Gianina. She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the products . she knew exactly what to recommend and answered all my questions with patience and confidence. She made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone! thank you to Gianina for being so awesome!

    Zero stars for the way the assistant manager treated me Assistant Manager name:TENDY cashier name : Melisa I went to the store wanted to return something that wasn’t used the “assistant “ told that it’s past 30 days i explained to her very nicely that I was overseas and it’s only been 7 days late she said it doesn’t netter I can’t take it back I told her that it will make me not shop at Sephora anymore and she said : THAT’S FINE IS THIS THE WAY TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER? I was so mad I told her I’ll contact my C/C company and she said that’s ok It was just a purchase for $24 but the attitude This store has 3.9 stars maybe you should check your employees Because i really like to shop at Sephora

    TRACY youu are so talented!!!! She color matched me perfectly on the first try & i have really dark circles and wanted something for everyday wear, w/ light-medium coverage without having to do a full face, and this “make up for ever” concealer not only covers the dark circles but blends into my skin tone perfectly so i do not need foundation You are the best!!!! Thank you🙏

    Gianina was the artist for my daughter and myself—she was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I booked back to back appointments on the app with a 15-minute break in between appointments, yet I asked if she’d be able to expedite us both as we had family pictures scheduled—she didn’t hesitate! We both got the exact looks we were going for. She provided skin care tips depending on our age & skin. Along the way she’d check in and provide options to try. Her time & experience was appreciated greatly! I highly recommend her for any service at Sephora!
