It might be on the pricier side but it was worth it considering the RN, Kailah was kind and patient while addressing my concerns. I’d honestly rather pay more for someone knowledgeable to do a great job. Maddie, the receptionist, was also pretty sweet. I was in and out in 5 minutes, tops. My family loves my new 5x5’s. Thanks again to Rowan for a quick, smooth, and easy experience.
- VLVee LeighNov 9, 20251.0Disappointed…booked an appointment for my daughter to get her ears pierced online specifically for a needle piercing and entered her birthday (3 weeks shy of 5). Upon our arrival we were told they would not do the piercing with a needle only a gun. The specific reason I came to this establishment and booked the appointment ahead of time was so we would not use a piercing gun. I really wish that if this truly is their policy that I would have been notified before driving in the rain for 45 minutes or just unable to book the appointment with her as I had specified. Edits: since Rowan replied to this message, I think the best thing to do is if your staff is unwilling to go by the booking standards when customers are booking appointments ahead of time, I’d suggest not allowing the booking to go through when someone puts the age information and the specific piercings. In our case the staff said due to her being under 5 she’d be required to use the gun but if that is truly the case why was the booking able to be put through? If it was a case of the staff not wanting to do the piercing as requested that is an entirely different issue that regards staffing. I was so excited when finding Rowan as an established that specifically did needle piercings for child but this experience really left a sour taste.

Taken in as a walk-in , it wasn’t busy so maybe that was a plus (rainy Sunday)🙂. the overall process was super easy and nurses were straightforward, patient and kind/friendly. - scanned QR code and filled out info - gave my ID for a copy they needed - nurse gave us a run down on pricing of earrings . Nurse was helpful in telling us that for babies they recommend bell back! And helped us decide the best earring for our girl since she has small earlobes. - earrings come prepackaged with the device. - no numbing cream for baby but honestly they don’t need it . - nurse marked ears and we made sure we liked the placement. - one parent sits and holds baby’s forehead with one hand and the other hand goes across the chest to prevent movement. The other parent can distract lol. - after the piercing is done you go to check out and are given your aftercare baggie with a booklet which is helpful . Also Stickers,Hair tie, And some lollipops I already finished lol . - recommend having a bottle ready or breastfeed if possible for comfort . - they were so nice they even let me use the back room to change my girls diaper 💩 before we got started. Which is the room we ended up using anyways. - yes of course the baby cried but only for a minute. Right after she got distracted and I walked around the store which seemed to help too. It has now been 2 days since she got them pierced and she has not even touched them or seem to notice they are even there which I was worried about since she’s 8 months old and very active . Overall 10/10 and would come again . Only thing I wish is that the aftercare bottle that is bought separately $20 came in a mini version lol it’s huge so it is worth the price but I feel I will not be using it all so the product will go to waste . Thankyou nurse Kailah for being so sweet, patient and kind with my daughter you were very easy going and made us have a laugh. As well as the rest of the team.
