  My first appointment and first time at your salon was with Angela was on May 30. I shared with her prior to shampooing my hair that I wanted my gray “lifted” due to some yellowing in the back. I shared with her previous stylist have let the shampoo for gray hair stay in for 15-20 minutes. Once my hair was done the yellow was still very visible and I shared my displeasure. She discussed addressing the issue on the next appointment. Upon making the next appointment she refused to do a “courtesy” appointment. The yellow remains in my hair. The salon should do what is right by the customer in that I brought it to her attention immediately. Marilyn Smith

  3 very generous stars.Ok so yesterday I was my mans bday he wanted to go to the mall to shop so we went to galleria. I have never been to a JCPenney salon didn't even know they had one but I wanted a blow out and style for my loves bday so I booked an appointment and the troubles began. I booked online which is a mistake, I booked a signature blowout, iron works ( which is just hair curlers) and eyebrows. Online it was 88 dollars. I booked for 1pm but the way the online system books apparently isn't something that can be done in shop so they called and we ended up agreeing to 12:30pm so the same lady doing my blowout could curl it too. No problem I liked that. But when I got there I still waited till almost one. The salon itself was massive and clean ( a surprising amount of black ladies back there too so yes they do ACTUALLY know how to take care of black hair!) anyways everything went fine with the blowout I did not get a silk press just a blow out and curl BUT my dresser suggested a trim for my dead ends about .5 inch. I agreed that was a mistake. As it was charged separately as a whole nother service under hair cut. After I was curled in a style i wouldn't recommend but it was ok I went to the back for eyebrows. Comfortable space sperate rooms but for some horrifying reason when she was done my left eyebrow only started itching and swelling which was a problem since I was getting my makeup done after. I had already left so I didn't bring it up but that is something to look out for. Also there was no after plucking so some hair was still visible just broken. With the addition of the "hair cut" my total bill was 188 and some change. Don't book online, don't do anything they recommended and don't get your eyebrows done there. Otherwise it wasn't all too bad.

  Taylor you are Awesome. It was a fun day with you. Glad it was you that did the purple color for me that I've been wanting for sooo long. :)
