  My first appointment and first time at your salon was with Angela was on May 30. I shared with her prior to shampooing my hair that I wanted my gray “lifted” due to some yellowing in the back. I shared with her previous stylist have let the shampoo for gray hair stay in for 15-20 minutes. Once my hair was done the yellow was still very visible and I shared my displeasure. She discussed addressing the issue on the next appointment. Upon making the next appointment she refused to do a “courtesy” appointment. The yellow remains in my hair. The salon should do what is right by the customer in that I brought it to her attention immediately. Marilyn Smith

  Cut and perm. He used the wrong product for my perm. I am a natural blonde still at 57. I told Michael I don’t color my hair when I made the appointment. He forgot what I had said and assumed I color my hair. It was straight as an arrow by two days. Never again

  I'll never go back to your JCPenney Salon in the Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo, NY. Last week I scheduled an appointment for today 2/29 at 3:30PM with Keyanna. This morning at 10AM I called the salon request my appointment be moved up to an earlier time because I had to take my daughter to a Birthday at 4P. The indidivual I spoke with said she would move my appointment with Keyanna to 2:15P and sent me an email confirmation. I arrived at the salon at 2:10P, and was checked in. After waiting for about 25 minutes Keyanna comes out and asks the front desk who her next appointment was. The receptionist scrambled through papers so I stood up and said me! Keyanna walked me back and asked for my name in which I said Kim. She immediately assumed I was someone else and said "oh you're late, your appointment was at 1:15P" I said no I'm not late my appointment was at 2:15P and she said "no I have you down for 1:15P hold on." Keyanna walked to the front then came back with some little girl then proceeded to show me her schedule then said "you're late, you were scheduled for 1:15P." The appointment she showed me was for someone name Kim Anderson which isn't me, and I told her "I'm not Kim Anderson, Im Kimberly Morrell." She checked her schedule again and said "oh well you're too early, you're scheduled for 3:30P and I have to take this little girl first" then made me get up out of her chair. I went to the front desk and complained then they cancelled my appointment then rescheduled it for 3:45P. I came back at 3:30P, sat and waited for about 10 minutes then the receptionist says "Keyanna is booked I can put you with Angie but that'll be another 15 minutes." Needless to say I told her to cancel it and reschedule me for tomorrow. I'm not coming back tomorrow, the next day or ever. I'll go to the boulevard from now on. JCPenney Salon in the Walden Galleria Mall is completely unprofessional and now my daughter was late for her birthday party and my hair is still not done! Update: I went to JCPenney Hair Salon at the Boulevard Mall as a walk in around 7P and they jumped right in and started doing my hair. Much better experience. Again....never going back to JCPenney at the Walden Galleria Mall.
