  I usually enjoy shopping at Sephora, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. This was my first time at this location and it was ruined in 5 seconds. I went yesterday around 12 pm and a staff member who was brown skin with a short hair cut was rude and showed no interest in helping me. I asked if she can help me find any products with Benzoyl peroxide and she told me “ I can look on the app and find what ever I was looking for” without even giving eye contact and walking away. I hope Sephora addresses these issues, because customer service like this doesn’t reflect the standards I expect from a brand of this size.I went because of the expertise and great service I normally receive from other locations but I was disappointed. I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because the second woman I asked who was at the register was a great help! She went online and found the products and although she couldn’t move from the area she directed me perfectly. Thank you to her for being helpful with a smile. I wish I knew her name.

  I shop at the Sephora in Albee Square frequently, and my visits are often marked by interactions that feel uncomfortable or unnecessarily scrutinizing. During today’s visit, I entered the store while a Black man with locs and an Asian man stood at the entrance talking to each other. They looked directly at me, yet neither greeted me or acknowledged my presence. I walked directly to the section with The Ordinary Niacinamide lotion. As I picked up the product and began heading toward the register, I noticed Cici immediately speak into her walkie. I approached her and asked if I could check out with her. She replied that I could not, instructing me to stand in the line. After doing so, she positioned herself on the opposite side of the fixture and watched me while I waited—still holding the single item I intended to purchase. Fortunately, Semi at the register shifted the tone of the visit completely. Her professionalism and warmth transformed what is often an unpleasant shopping experience for me at this location into one that felt far more respectful and positive.

  Poor customer was sat down for 30 after the appointment time. She wasn’t even making an effort to attend to me.

  I hate this Sephora so much 😩. I shop at Sephora a lot but this location the energy always gives Mean girl vibes no thank you. Not so very helpful. Always in groups akeeekee-ing, side eye it’s giving very much unpleasant shopping experience..
